JULY'S VSBN SHOPPING LIST!!!!!!!
ALL ACTORS AND ACTRESSES NEED TO BRING TO THEIR VSBN AUDITIONS THE FOLLOWING!!!!!
**General Scrapping Supplies**
- adhesive, cardstock, stamps, ink, patterned paper, tools such as hole punches, heat gun, hammer, stickers, embellishments such as buttons, twine, ribbon, metal tags, funky fibers, ....anything you usually use on your scrappin' pages!!!
**Pictures of course!!! B&W TOO!**
- remember that in order for your submissions to be included in the judging, you MUST include pictures on your layouts
- make sure you have an assortment of different types of pics to choose from, such as seasonal pics, special events, water pictures, trips/vacations, etc. **Additional Supplies**
Bling Bling, glossy paper, tickets or pamphlets from an event or special place that you went, maps, your excitement, enthusiasm and most importantly.....your creativity!!!!!!!!

So, I'm new to VSBN. What is it? Is it a scrapbook night that you scrap with your online buddies from around the world. Can we enter submissions anytime for a chance for prizes or do they have to be submitted in a certain time period? Do people often get together with others in their area for VSBN?

Well Shay! WELCOME!! VSBN is also pretty new!! This is only the second one to be done!!!! but you have the most important thing right! scrapping with your online buddies from around the world!!!
for instance this SATURDAY July 8th will be our Preview Party to the Big SHOW on July 22 and 23!!!
be here at 3pm central time (which depending on the southern part of IN you are in could be 4pm your time!) WHICH! BTW!! PLEASE tell me where you are! I lived in Evansville for a few years!!!hehehhe!!
ANYWHO! back to VSBN! heheh!
click on the challenge thread (it will be stickied) and read the challenge. You have 2 hours to complete the challenge. NOW you DO NOT HAVE TO DO the challenge in that specified 2 hours just have it done and UPLOADED with the CORRECT VSBN code by the deadline (tba).
Since this is only the 2nd one that we have done I am not sure if people have had a CHANCE to actually get together! Although, My sister came over last time and so did a friend of hers from work! It would make it all the more fun FOR SURE!!!!! and adding CHOCOLATE ALWAYS HELPS!!!! hehehehe!!!!

What will go on during the Preview Party?
I'm in North Vernon - we're now on Eastern time zone all the time. This past April was the first time we "sprang forward". We have friends that live in Henderson, just across the river from Evansville. Where do you live now?
I don't have a scanner yet, so I would need to go to my mom's or friend's house to upload. I have a digital camera, but don't know how to upload from it. I guess I better learn. I will be buying an all-in-one machine very soon, though. I don't think I'll have it by VSBN.
So, it starts at 4 pm on July 22 (Easter). When does it end? Is it round the clock that weekend?

I am now in Little Rock, Arkansas.
It will start at 11 am on the 22nd and the 23rd and will go till 9 pm your time. Or I should say that the last challenge will be posted at that time!!!
July 8th is when the show starts at 4pm for you!! and will only consist of 3 challenges that day!!!
on the camera thing, do you still have the cord to connect your camera to the computer?? is so all you should have to do is hook it up and turn the camera on. OR you can get a card reader that will work for the type of cards that you use.

Thanks for clarifying on the times. So, the VSBN on 22nd-23rd is nonstop from 11 am Eastern on Sat. until 9 pm Eastern on Sun.? With a one year old, we'll see how much time I can actually work on it, but I have a wonderful husband who will let me do as much as I can.

Umm We will break from for big weekend from 11pm EST Saturday till 11 EST Sunday morning!!!

Hi...I'm supposed to be getting my pix & supplies ready but I'm pooped! With the new Superman movie out (ooooh, he's a hottie!), I think I have Kryptonitis. LOL! I'll have to dig up some energy now or get up real early tomorrow. VSBN starts for me at 1:00 pm since I'm on the West Coast. Does that give me an advantage? heeheehee...

Whoop-Whoop!!! VSBN this week-end! YAY!!!
Well, here's the scoop on that! I was all pumped up for the preview party; had my act (pun intended :mrgreen together. DH took DGD to the park. So I'm off on the first challenge, I start a little slow but pickin' up steam. Ideas are startin' to come-maybe I'll make it! DH walks in at the 2-hour mark with the dirtiest kid I've ever seen. She was so filthy, I had to put her into the shower before I could even put her in the bathtub. And her clothes looked like toxic waste. So...TKO on the 1st challenge and no rematch for 2nd & 3rd! Bummer! AND to top it off I have both grandkids THIS weekend so I can't play:( But I've checked the great pages and everyone did a FAB job. I'll check in when possible this weekend. Have a blast ladies!

How come I just now found this thread?! I'm such a slacker.... I'm bummed that I won't get to participate. All of my fun stuff is packed up right now because we are moving and the only scrapping that I'm able to do is digi scrap. Have fun ladies!!
