I am curious about the digi scrapbooking. I downloaded a program on my computer, but it is really hard to use. It takes me longer to do it than traditional. I think there must be something I am doing wrong. (Ya think!!!?)

I have Photoshop Elements and Creative Memories' Storybook Creator Plus. I think CM's is easier to learn. You can use other digi stuff in it so your not limited to just CM's digi kits. You can download a free version and try it out but you will be limited to what you can do with it.

the best thing about digi is that you never run out of paper or embellishments, don't have to clean off your workspace, and do it anywhere. I did a page last weekend while sitting in my car waiting for my dd.

Just uploading my pages for the first challenge. I have these one laid out, just have to use the adhesive to get it put together, voila!

I SO like these mini's because it gets you excited for the Main VSBN Event! Woohoo!

another great thing about digi is that you can go back and easily correct spelling mistakes! (yea, I just did that)

Yup! I totally agree and now that I've got a laptop, I did that not too long ago. I had to search for pictures which took me over an hour and I did it while waiting in the car!

Are we going to be hanging here for a while or are we going to move the chatting back to the main thread for the evening. It is nice to chat for a change and so just was wondering if anyone was going to be hanging out for a awhile and where we are hanging?

I can chat for a bit...just got DGS ice cream and since he got up at 5:30 a.m. this morning....I'm hoping to get him to bed no later than 8 today.

Well, I finally came up with an idea! And I had this collage, that made the page easy and quick! Thank you for the challenge. If it weren't for the challenges, I would never do any scrapbooking!

Lura, this challenge was awesome! It made me realise I had made a resolution this year and now I have written it down, I will be more likely to stick to it???

really tough challenge for me. I don't make NY's resolutions, but when I looked through photos I realized I do have some goals. And while I was making the page I realized this would fulfill even more of my goals (all of which are written up on the post)

finished and uploaded my 2nd page of the layout.
Another goal accomplished.
Just by playing in this challenge I have put several of my goals for this year to work
use cricut and get better aquainted with it
make a scrapbook page, complete it by finishing the 2nd page of the layout
realize I have goals - like helping Layla learn to settle down some

all in all this has been very helpful to me.

My resolution for 2011 is NO NEW STAMPS!

Not until I have used all the ones I have at least once.

So far so good, I made it through Sale A Bration.. so far! LOL

I am having technical difficulties this weekend. FireFox and SCS seem to hate me! LOL
I have uninstalled and reinstalled FireFox twice now. Now today I am using a Beta FireFox.

Uploading has been my only issue so far. LOL

I thought I was being so smart taking a picture with my page upright.
I didn't even notice the 'curve' until i got it uploaded.

That happens to me sometimes too but it seem easiest for me to take the photos this way! Great page!
