At some point, you must have had a very trying day in your life. This song brings it all home.

My challenge to you is...
What do you do after a long day at work?
Work is outside the home or stay-at-home moms/dads.
Scrap how you relax when you can relax. OR, scrap how you would like to relax if given the chance/choice.
Fantasize about how you would relax if given no limitation and scrap it!
I challenge you to do a 2-page layout (although it is not necessary- one page is just fine also) and on the first page- show in your layout what you do in the course of your day at work.
Show how/what you do at work/ depict things you do at work/ show items you work with/show anything work related. second page-Then show how you relax. OR....Show how you would relax IF given the chance to relax any way you wish...and YES you can use a fantasy in this part.
Journaling is a must!

My hubby had to take my DD age 5 to a birthday party at a indoor inflatable place- slides and bouncy houses etc....
Since I already agreed to this challenge.....oh well. He'll have fun , maybe? it'll be interesting to see what pics come home fromthe party,if any. lol!!!

It's fun to listen to daddy's interpretations! I hope he's better than my DH and takes pics...mine will have the camera and forget ;-)

I agree with you MP. At least the parents that are hosting the party are big photo people too so at least I should get a few pics of her from them later. My hubby tries real hard to take good pics...most of the pics are far, far away ... he tries though LOL!

hmmm...I don't have too many photos of myself at work other than the one the boss took a few months ago so he could put me on the website! Eww!! It certainly shows what I do www.njshell.com if you want to see me in action! lol! I'll have to think about this one...might be doable (especially in digi!)

You can alway do the l/o and add the pics later...then you can 'approve' the pics ;-)
i love this challenge. relaxing is so important in life
I couldn't agree more; however I get so little time to truly relax. I think that is why I stay up late at night so no one can disturb me and I can do whatever I want. That is a two edged sword cause then I don't get enough rest..decisions, decisions! lol! sleep or fun?

I had to take a break from the paper and have a piece of toast-the paper is about Slavery and Social Death-things I didnt even know I wanted to know about slavery!

you could just show what you work with......
It is a grad level humanities class-Slavery in History and Literature-and really I chose it because the last books in the course are my favs by Toni Morrison. Getting through the world wide history of slavery is a bit tough! So here I am-writing a couple of sentences and then haunting the VSBN threads!

It is and I think may be too much so-to have to stop and examine how rotten human beings treat each other is not my idea of having a good time! Oh well -if I just persevere I just might get to scrap today!

Sorry I'm late. Very unexpected "minor" emergency at our house this morning. Son #1 called from Med Clinic at college at 0400 and said they suggested he come home for a couple days, he's pretty sick. It's 3.5 hours away so I had to "run" down and pick him up & bring him home, now I"m back.

Sorry I'm late. Very unexpected "minor" emergency at our house this morning. Son #1 called from Med Clinic at college at 0400 and said they suggested he come home for a couple days, he's pretty sick. It's 3.5 hours away so I had to "run" down and pick him up & bring him home, now I"m back.
Uggghhhh...poor guy...poor momma! That's a 7 hour ride! I hope he feels better soon and you get time to recouperate.
I did just see the front page so that's something; now to wait on word about the gallery. I keep checking every 15 minutes or so....

I thought that 3-1/2 hours wasn't too far to be away at college but this morning I was SURE wishing he'd picked somewhere closer! ;) It's not as if I went to bed much b4 0100 because I finished Carol's challenge so a couple hours of sleep is catching up w/ me! Not sure what's going on with him? He's taking the meds so maybe he just needs a break. I'll take him back Tuesday.

I had forgotten about the group photo he put on there. The blond with the dog is the lady that no longer works for us, the lady in the middle is the boss' mom and I am in the black jacket. I'm also back on the Contact us page...diligently working away! Unlike the others that are gazing like a deer into the headlights in the other pics! lol! Can you tell who does most of the work in the place? ;)
