I was going to go to work this morning but the electrician called to come and run wiring for our patio and the landscapers were here laying block until it started to rain so I couldn't really get out of my garage and now it's almost 11 a.m. and I haven't gone to the bank yet then it'll be lunchtime and so..I don't feel like driving to work now So I'll just go to the bank, come back and stay home, make baked beef stew, laundry, and watch my soap opera and be all ready by 6 for the first event! Come on VSBN!!!!!
Sounds like a good job when you can change things up like that last minute! That Beef Stew sounds YUMMY!
I think I remember hearing that today is the last day for All My Children on ABC (think it's to go viral though)...maybe I'll have to have it on today in the background.

This will be the first time I've done Scrapbook Night. I've been making cards for almost 10 years, but am just getting started in scrapbooking. I can't wait to learn more about scrapbooking!!

Oh my goodness! It is really almost here! I am still hunting photos! You know I began this ABC album to use up some of the photos not used in the regular albums, but yesterday, I can't believe I had to print one off the computer! That defeats the purpose for me , anyway. LOL

WOW - I'll REALLY have to learn! I don't know the first thing about Digi scrapping, so I'll have to learn about doing that. The only scrapping that I've done has been very plain, and just pictures from trips.

I just finished posting a Thanksgiving dps and I started to get hungry looking at all that yummy food, so decided it was time to stop by the cafeteria for a bit!
I won't be able to join in until tomorrow. We're going to our friends' house to have dinner and watch movies on their big screen TV like we do most Friday evenings, so I'll see you in the a.m. I might be able to stop by later tonight just to "monitor" the challenges!

Ok ladies, I'm caught up to the letter G! Yeah! No pictures printed, but I know exactly which to print and get on the pages. Has been an awesome day! I already know what I will be doing for H, but gotta get a leg up on letters I and J. These are great challenges, and first paper pages I've done in over a year. Remembering what I love about digi - the no cropping photos and remembering to print! LOL
Thanks for the welcomes all! And welcome Janet - don't be intimidated by scrap booking as the principles are really not all that different from card making and its every it as addicting!

Okay, I finally got it figured out.
Sharon, thanks so much for emailing me. We had a brief power outage here so I didn't get back online until after dinner.
Then, I went and actually looked carefully in my MDS and found the (simple) instructions for changing my page to a jpg to upload. Whew. Links in the challenge thread.
The pages didn't take that long to do, but all the other stuff did, so I will have to wait until tomorrow to take part in other challenges.
Well, college football on the TV and I need to just clean up my scrappin' desk so I have lots of space to be inspired I should do some vacuuming and throw in some laundry ... sigh ... the house cleaning fairies seem to be on vacation here

Well, college football on the TV and I need to just clean up my scrappin' desk so I have lots of space to be inspired I should do some vacuuming and throw in some laundry ... sigh ... the house cleaning fairies seem to be on vacation here
I wish I could find me some house cleaning fairies! I did the house cleaning thing this morning because DD1 is suppose to have her tv production group over. They have a project to make a music video...only 1 out of 5 has showed up and it's about an hour after they were due to meet...uggghhhh, teenagers! And with all this technology none of them thought to trade phone numbers...

I think this is how I'm going to feel from now on...the 'head' person with the outline and the camera didn't show up so these two couldn't do anything. What gets me is this is the class I sub & volunteer so ya'd think they'd kiss up by showin' up ...I'm pretty sure it's all football related. I'm friendly with the teacher and already popped her an e-mail. It's due next week and if I have to I'll have Sarah do one on her own.

Actually it happens most afternoons during the summer...that's our subtropical environment here in Florida. Yesterday's storm was later than normal and a bit on the violent side, it's been a little extra wet this week. Theoretically, our dry season starts in a few weeks. (The afternoon clouds are starting to form as we speak...another 60% chance of showers for today)

I get frustrated that the edits I do in iPhoto do not always appear in when I upload them to the print place. ANNOYING!
I do have a small Canon Selphy which works great - but only for the 4x6 sizes. When I have to/want to order enlargements then it just makes sense to get the 4x6's printed where the enlargements are done so everything matches.
Again...one of the things about digi scrapping that I love! I purposely made a point of doing some traditional paper pages this weekend so that I could attack my stash of paper goodies! I DO love doing traditional scrappin - but I really do find the digi more convenient!!
I should go finish that H page and have a shower. I need to run out for some groceries before I get busy playing again, and hopefully my photo order will be ready then too!
Mary-Pat - I just moved my craft room back to my craft "corner" in the the family room when our 22 yr old daughter moved home this summer. It took me until this week to get my corner semi-set up again. I have to admit I love being in a little nook in the family room so I can actually be with my gang while I'm playing. But I REALLY need to figure out a better system than what I have now. Its barely enough space.
Does anyone have that Scrapbox that keeps showing up on the sidebar ads? It would be pretty sweet to enclose everything into specially designed storage!!
Good afternoon, students! (Tee-hee!) It's almost time for class to begin, so go to your lockers and get prepared! You'll need your notebooks, a few colours of cardstock and/or Designer Paper, some journaling tools (pens etc.), embellishments, and your thinking caps!
