No I dont mean Harry Potter (although my family may disagree with me). Im referring to the NEW Stampin Up! Fall/Winter Idea Book and Catalog! Every year I get so excited to see this new book! Dont you love it when you find a book you just cant put down? Thats how I feel about the Stampin Up! Idea Books. I can read them over and over again. I always catch something I missed the first time. Plus, it has everything a good book needs to reach different readers. Theres romance (p. 4, adventure (p. 84 & 8, sadness (p. 5, and humor. (p. 90 How can you not laugh every time you see that smiling rhino?)
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, will be to use my favorite NEW Idea Book and create a scrapbook page using at least one NEW stamp set and one NEW accessory/embellishment.
Rules:
* The new set(s) & accessory/embellishment you choose need to be NEW to the Fall/Winter Idea Book... meaning that they were not in the old book.
* All other stamps and accessories do not have to be new.
* Please use ALL Stampin Up! materials. (& try to keep them current) No retired items
* Any mini catalog sets and accessories/embellishments that made it into the NEW catalog count!
* New punches & Designer Series Paper will count as your accessory/embellishment.
* Please list the NEW items you used in your post. (Makes it a little easier for me to keep track.) J
(This is the first time I have uploaded an attachment, so I hope it works!) If not, I'll link it to the new sample I'll put in my gallery.
My New Set: Pick a Petal
My New Accessories/Embellishments: Palette O' Prints, Ice Circle Rhinestone Brads, Blossoms and Basics On Board Chipboard
I'm so proud (and slightly jealous) of all these ladies who have been busy meeting each of these challenges. I just finished my first one of the weekend! (Not counting this one, of course.) I hope to try at least a couple more, but I promised my two dd that I would finally take them to the 5th Harry Potter movie... What's a girl to do???
Oh fun challenge Tammi! My new punch came but it's still at my demo/friends house. I'll need tog et that from her maybe tomorrow... but I have new papers and stamps so I'll have to see what I can come up with...

Some ladies are really knocking out the pages. You have until Wednesday evening to get some done Or just save the challenges for when you have time - they are all great challenges and worth doing sometime

Glad I'm not the only one... I've been a little preoccupied with reading the last Harry Potter book... okay, so it was MY second most anticipated book of the summer. The idea book is still MY first.

I was so sure when the supply list came out that I wouldn't be able to do this challenge as I didn't order anything but In Color paper and ink from this new catalog, but surprise! I'm so excited, I can play! I have Polka Dots and Petals and the Round Tab punch from the minis! Off to choose some photos.

Don't you just LOVE the punches this year??? Can you tell that I'm addicted to them already? I just got my scallop punch a couple days ago, so I'm sure you'll see some samples with that. I still think my favorite is the 5 petal punch. I've had the Spring Bouquet for a while and never used it until I realized one of the flowers fits in the middle of the 5 petal punch.

Perfect! Can't wait to see what you create! Love that Tab punch, too!

Thankfully they didn't come out at the same time. Look at one page of the catty, read a page of HP - repeat
