Welcome to February and our Candy Hearts Kind of Love VSBN!
If you don't have a box of Candy Hearts you may need one for inspiration,
What would be a True VSBN without some kind of "food" mentioned? LOL! Now, as many will tell you who've been around for awhile and know, I'm not anywhere near the "resident expert" on food or cooking. As a matter of fact, I'm probably one slight step up from a "disaster" BUT the beautiful part about VSBN is I don't have to be able to cook or bake to use the Inspiration for Scrapping LOVE.
Candy Hearts Inspiration in 2009 was all about Food and we're going to celebrate that in our next challenge. The Candy Heart words for that year were Recipe 4 Love, , Table 4 Two, Top Chef, Yum and my favorite Sugar Pie and Honey Bun .
Since cooking or baking seems kind of "tricky" to me, this challenge is also kind of "tricky". It's all about Recipes so what you're going to do is pick a word below, click on it and it will take you to the "RECIPE" you will follow for your page . The forum for the recipe will be "closed" for read only so post all of your pages and comments back here on this thread. Let me know if you have questions, here are your choices:

OMG! I almost started a page entitled "YUM" for one of yesterday's challenges but changed my mind when I found a word art file for BEDHEAD! NOw I guess I can do the Yum too Too Funny!

I actually just had a weekend a couple weeks ago. they are not big anymore though. It's broken into smaller groups of ladies now. There is a house near me that I rent for myself and several of my friends. It is owned by a former CM consultant so instead of a garage, there is a crop room.

Yeah, the CM ladies up here seem to be doing the same, not hosting the weekend stuff but just small one day crops at their house. I haven't been able to get to one yet w/ the lady that lives not too far from me. Seems every date I'm out of town, LOL!

Well it seems I lost internet connection to SCS for a while but it's working again. I've gotten 1-3 challenges done and we have to get up early to go to a different church for Scout Sunday. DGS is helping greet and hand out bulletins and then with the service so I need my rest in order to get that "bedhead" a shower in the morning ;)
Good night...great challenges so far (and I found an actual Candy Heart file with sayings when I was file surfing so I plan on using them on #5 Challenge)

Just now getting here. I think I will check all the recipes out tomorrow when I get home from church. Too tired tonight. I can't believe how many pages I did today already. 4 in one day! I really just got going. It is a shame I am tired. See you tomorrow.

Well, its morning again, and I am back at it! We have to start going to bed earlier- Jaxx, our Aussie mix really thinks I should be out of that bed, on a daily basis, between 4 and 5. When my sons were babies, they let me get more sleep than Jaxx does!
I am going with Yum- I have tons of food pics to scrap- I figure if I go out and take pics of the food, its good enough, and I don't have to go back. I can try a new place, and believe me there are more places to try in this area, than I could ever have time or money to try!

Lela, I'm not getting much scrapping done, but I must tell you that these challenges are so cute and clever!! I don't know where you come up with all the great ideas and tie them all together with the theme!
Oh, my goodness! This was such a fun challenge!!! I couldn't decide which "recipe" I wanted to use at first, and then when I finally started working I couldn't get the page to look right. Anyway, after several attempts (this is why I can't do traditional scrapbooking - I'd waste way too many supplies!) I ended up with my final page.
