(I give up trying to upload my sample into "my gallery"..So here is my journaling...)
My journaling...First, I wrote about my childhood dreams and then about my life as it is now...
All About My Fairytale
As a little girl I always wanted a white 2-story house with a white picket fence & a 2 car garage
I live in a cozy little log house that is partially a two-story. We even have a loft that we utilize for storage. I really love this house. It reminds me of my Mother-in-law who has been in heaven for 5 years now.
I dreamed of having 2 children: first a boy and then a girl. My children ideally would only be a few years apart in age and would be really close. Since I am an only child I wanted my own kids to have siblings to grow up with and enjoy.
Together my Hunny Bunny and I have 5 kiddos! WOW! Yes, I know God had a totally different plan for me! Apparently,I was meant to be surrounded by entirely too much testosterone. The guys are 7 (my fiery red-head, who thinks he is the boss),
12 (going on 13 & not exactly loving it), 17 (our only baby girl), 18 (our sweet wild child), and 20 (he is all grown up now). Bunny & I became grandparents last year and our precious little angel will be turning 1 next month!
As a young girl, my parents always told me I would be a good criminal lawyer. I have the gift of gab which includes an argumentative gene. In college I chose to go for nursing and later changed to accounting.
To better care for my family I am at home surrounded by little angels all day long. I have a Home Daycare, never thought that would happen. I had always worked until an unfortunate layoff forced me to shift my focus to my family and I realized this is where I should be.
My life has turned out totally different than I ever expected, but yet it is still My Fairytale! Of course there are days I feel as if I should be committed to an institution for some sanity and R & R! But honestly most days I feel loved, appreciated, and totally blessed!

Very cool challenge!
I will do mine a little later dh wants me to eat dinner with him and the fam, and of course we are outside again with the neighbors! However it is making me feel a little torn... Scrap or hang.... I will hang first than come back and scrap later.
I'm going to work on this one later. I had to take the dogs out and take a break for myself and I know what I would love to scrap, but have no idea where the photos are right now.
Tracy, I did the first challenge. Now for yours. I'll have to do it a little later as DH & I may go to eat. You know the small town where you used to be a lot. Starts with a W. Good food. Will talk to you later. Janet

Hi there neighbor! Enjoy your meal...I will see ya later!
Hey, you all! Lindsey and I are still trying to figure out what pictures, too! She also wants to use my wheels and....I don't want to help here! I just want to do mine! JK of course!
Finished the first one, but this one will have to wait until after dinner and bedtime- it's the one and only perfect spring day here in Houston, so I need to go outside and enjoy it while it lasts! I'll get working later tonight- thanks for two great challenges!

Ladies...I can't wait to see what you come up with later. I can understand needing a break...It is beautiful here too...but very windy. Good Luck with the "thinking process".
LOL Lindsey is really struggling with this one! (Okay, me too!) we are chatting about what pictures/theme to do. She just figured out, though, that this was the last challenge for this weekend! She is completely bummed and we are going to be out of town on vacation on the VSBN weekend - oh my gosh, she is ready to change that right now! DH is going to have TWO addicted scrappers here pretty soon!
Location: Trying to spend as much time as possible watching Xander and Xavier grow and learn!

OH let me tell you that they NOW understand to LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!! GRRRR!
(But I did order for me too! hehehehe! Teach them to bother me when I am busy!)
I know what I'm doing now and I'm about to start. But my 2 hours will be broken. My husband will be home in less than an hour and I'll stop then. I'll start the timer again, when I can pick it up and finish. If that violates the rules, that's ok. I'm having fun, anyway.

No Teresa! That's exactly how to do it!! Just start the timer again when you get back to it!!
Oh! I did it! I did it! I did it! I found the pictures. It all fell into place. I decided to print part of the title. I didn't have the alphabet set I wanted for it. And I only did a one page layout. And I finished. And my husband's not home yet. I may even be able to take the photo and post before he gets home! Yay, me!
WOW! I "step away" for a few...and you gals really got to work! Has anyone uploaded yet? I want to see some pages...I am trying to re-upload my sample so that I could also show my journaling but both times the system just kicks it out...Unfortunately, this does not happen until I am totally done...right now it is still stuck on ...PREPARING TO PROCESS THE IMAGE LIST! GRRR...:(
Well, to continue our running commentary...Lindsey is finished with her page and is waiting for me to take a picture. She can't wait to upload her pages. She used my wheels and lots of glitter, but I don't know how well it will show in the photo. I, on the other hand, stopped to chat with the parents of DS's friend when they dropped him off from a ball game (his motto - if you're not PLAYING baseball, you should be WATCHING baseball!) and then sat down and ate dinner with the boys and DH. DD barely gobbled something down and returned to her page! So I am sitting down to work on some journaling and get started on my page again and she is chattering in my ear about taking a picture of her page. Also waiting for the battery to charge!!
Can't wait to see these pages Monday!
Awwww, Mary, that is so cute!! I think you're going to have competition for your scrapping supplies!!! She's hooked for sure!! Ahhhh....my job is done!

What about Miss Emileigh? Have you turned her into a true scrapper yet?
Great page Teresa...I can't believe that your journaling was added so quickly and it is that awesome! You GO GIRL! I "wish" I could journal so fast... Mary~ I can't wait to see your DD's page and yours (if you ever get a chance to finish it)...Mother/Daughter scrappin is the best! I had Step-Mother/Step-DD Scrappin which made us super close and I am blessed for that relationship...I should share some of our pages someday.
I finally gave up trying to upload my page...So, I added my journaling to the first post of this thread...SORRY I didn't get this added to the upload.

Thanks for doing that; I really enjoy reading "the story behind the pictures", and this was soooo worth it! Thanks for the great challenge.
I was going to scrap pics of all the cats I've had in my life, but 30 minutes into my photo search I had to "feed the chickens" and was still missing several kittie pics. So now that I'm back on track I think I'm going to take a different direction on this one...but someday will still have to do the cat page, now that the spark has been lit!
