I'm so excited to bring you our Viva La Verve September Week 4 sketch challenge!
But first, a few details:
Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win the ENTIRE next Verve stamp release! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
We've had four sketches in September. All four of your cards must be uploaded to the VLVSep2011 Gallery and linked up in theVLVLSep2011 Sketch CHAMPIONS thread by midnight, CST on Thursday, September 29, to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on September 30! GOOD LUCK! To make things easy, here's the link to the printable PDF sketchbook of all of September's sketches.
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVSep2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps).
If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery:
If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges... VLVSep2011. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in the VLVSep2011 Gallery
If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVSep2011 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery.
I've attached a gorgeous sample from Moe, and one that I've made as well! Thanks so much Moe for the sample!
a little challenge for my brain, which I love!! I also learned a valuable lesson...don't use text patterned paper for the diagonals!! LOL That's a little Susie Q-tip ala Moe Actually, if you do, extra points!!
Oh my.....more challenges for my little creative gene LOL! May the Diva Dust fly to help me out with this one

GREAT tip, Moe! I have to tell you though...that little part in me that doesn't like boundaries (you're a teacher, I'm sure you know the type ) wants to try it! LOL!!

LOL!! I have SO much confidence in you! And just so you know, the tag doesn't have to be tilted! Teeheheee! I know you're going to create something so elegant and gorgeous!

Thanks Laurie Have the tilted issue almost under control unless there are multiples - aka this week's Mojo sketch! Wimping out on that one.....sorry Julee! Diva Dust arrived and am dancing in it, rolling in it and may have some on my salad too - covered inside and out, should be good to go now

Ah, I have to admit that I was a wee bit intimidated by this sketch, Laurie...in fact, I did a fast walk the other way when I saw it...BUT!!! I perservered and it really wasn't as daunting as it looked at first. In fact, I really had fun with those panels! You listenin' Marisa? ") All I can say is, great sketch, Laurie! I'm glad I came back!

So, is that a yes, you are making another one? I was just a little cocky when I went to cut the text strips...should have slowed down and measured 3 times!! LOL I'm blaming everything on stamping in Dad's basement!! ACK!!
Wow, all those angles, now I really sympathize with my son taking geometry!! I guess that's why they call it a challenge!! It turned out being very fun and I love how everyone's cards turned out!! Here's mine: Thank You by DJRants - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers TFL!!

La la la la la la....not sure I heard you Andrea wink, wink Can I make straight up and down stripes and turn the card sideways and call them angled?! Still rolling and dancing in the Diva Dust so we'll see how much sticks when I'm working on the card. Only three days left so better start sticking!!

Laurie,
sorry but I broke the rules and did wavy lies rather than straight ones - had a bad day, got stuck late problem solving in the office and then my 'play time' was sadly restricted and I should be in bed! My card is called Snow Drifts
