Welcome to Day 11 of our first Anni-VERVE-sary Celebration! So, have you been keeping up with each reveal day of this gorgeous set? I swear, the first time I saw it, I got goosebumps! And after I read all of the Verve Divas reasons for selecting their individual quotes? I was definitely in need of a hankie! It was such an honor to be able to contribute to beautiful Beautiful You.

The sentiment that I contributed is:
"There are no small miracles."
What this stamp means to me:Though there are eight years between them, my sons came into the world under very similar circumstances. With both, I developed severe pre-eclampsia. Both of my boys were born at least eight weeks premature, and both weighed three pounds and a few ounces. After the birth of my oldest, a wonderful woman sent a present of bibs and some toddler cutlery. In her note, she wrote "I know your arms ache to hold your baby and bring him home. It may not seem possible right at this moment, but before too long he will be giggling in his highchair, and mealtime will be an adventure! I hope you will keep this time in your heart, though, so you always remember how precious that little one is to you. There are no small miracles." It's the most profound letter I've ever received, and I repeat that phrase in every card I write to new parents. Patti (the woman who wrote me the note) died a couple of months ago, and it gratifies me immensely to pay tribute to her in this way.

LOVE that quote!! How true it is and I'm trilled you are able to pay tribute to your friend who touched your life those many years ago by sharing the same quote with the rest of us Great colours on the card too.
What a touching story...it made me cry...mostly because my son is away at university so all the mom stories make me miss him. Our babies are all true miracles...thanks so much for sharing.
