**Viva la Verve Week 4 {12/24/10}**
Welcome to Week #4 of the Viva la Verve Challenges!!! Amber is taking some time off this month and so each week one of the Verve Divas will be hosting the challenge. This week, it's my turn!!
We're doing the inspiration part of the challenge a little differently this month. Instead of specific pictures, we have a theme: Ornaments & Winter Decor. Find inspiration from ornaments, wreaths, trees or any of the fabulously pretty things that are decking the halls this time of year!
**The Deets**
Complete all four December challenges for a chance to win our next release. Verve stamps are not required, but we love to see' em if you've got 'em!
All 4 sketch challenges MUST be uploaded to the SCS gallery with keyword VLVDec2010 by midnight on December 30th. When you're finished, link all four of your creations in the December Champions thread. One lucky participant who has linked her (or his) cards on the champions thread will win our January release! The winner will be announced on December 31st. Have fun!
Our keywords for December will be Verve (if using Verve stamps) and VLVDec2010. The keywords will remain the same ALL MONTH. Please make sure to add the keyword correctly or your cards won't show up in the gallery!
Below, is this week's sketch and a few samples to get your creative juices flowing. I have also attached a PDF file of all the December sketches to make it easy for you. You can print and save for future creations.
And don't forget to link up all of your creations to the CHAMPIONS THREAD.

Hehehe! Little did I know when I got your GORGEOUS card in the mail a couple of days ago that it was today's Viva la Verve challenge card!! Too funny because I already cased it...that's how much I liked it! Will have to wait until Sunday afternoon before I can find time to stamp anything new. Merry Christmas to all!

I used the holiday BG papers that I neglected this holiday season, but I'm glad they're versatile enough to be used for a variety of themes!

Actually needed just a couple more holiday cards for folks I didn't get to see before Christmas, so I made this Happy Holidays card using this sketch. I love the various "stripes" of paper and joining them with some zigzag stitching. Very quick and simple, but lots of color and pattern.
I changed this up a bit in that I used a tag instead of an oval. I'm going to miss these Verve tags. I'll have to think of a way to use them during the rest of the year.
