Hello and welcome to the September Viva la Verve sketch challenges!
Details:
Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win the ENTIRE next Verve stamp release! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For September, we'll have FOUR sketches! All four cards must be uploaded to the VLVSep2011 gallery by midnight, CST on Thursday, September 29th to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on September 30th! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVSep2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps).
**Some Upload Information**

If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery:
If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges... VLVSep2011. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in theVLVSep2011 Gallery
If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVSep2011 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery. __________________________________________________ _______
This week's sketch is a tall and skinny! The measurements for my card are 3.5x6.5 (Cut your cardstock 7x6.5 and score the 7" side at 3.5!) You don't HAVE to make your card a tall and skinny, this sketch would work for a standard 4.25x5.5 card, but since this is a *challenge*, go on and push yourself to try something new Also, the circles do NOT have to be circles, use whatever shape you fancy, just have fun...mmmmkay?
Hmmmm...thinking cap is on for this one. Will see what pops out LOL!

Wow! I'm actually a bit scared of this sketch! LOL. Definitely will have to warm up my creative muscles before I tackle this. Thanks for the challenge Amber. Looking forward to seeing how everyone interprets this.
This was a fun one. I only had too many choices!! LOL. But a friend is paying me for some cards and needed a couple wedding ones among them, so this one won out. I love it.
Thanks, Amber!
So I got to play with this lovely sketch, and used all 3 of my new sets on the one card, gotta love that, here is V is for Very Happy... thanks for the totally OTT FAB sketch!

Hmmm need to put my thinking cap on. I don't do long cards because all mine go to OWH and they need A2's. Oh wait - they also need letters to heroes and they can be any size! Off to play!
Wow! After looking through the gallery, I am overwhelmed. The cards made for this sketch are so incredible I doubt I'll come close to this level of talent. Great job ladies!

Here is my card for this week's challenge, which is also my entry for the Diva Dare challenge. I've only put it on my blog for the moment but will come back and upload to the VLV gallery as soon as I can:
I made my card for my daughter who just started her freshman year at college. It has rained almost every day since she arrived and she's been wet through more than once already. I thought the Lucky Ducky set would be perfect for her!! : )
