Greetings everyone and welcome to the third October Viva la Verve sketch challenge! I picked one of my favourite sketches from the summer and Julee has made it Verve-a-licious!! Please remember, the circles can be ANY shape!! I'm breaking the rules all the time...so please feel free to keep me company and do so too!!
Details:
Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win a $100 gift certificate to VERVE! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For October, we'll have FIVE sketches! All FIVE cards must be uploaded to the VLVOct2011 gallery by midnight, CST on Thursday, November 3rd to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on November 4th! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVOct2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps). VLV October Gallery

If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery:
If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges... VLVOct2011. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in the VLVOct2011 Gallery
If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVOct2011 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery.

I agree, Teresa...you gals rocked this sketch so cool to see all the different takes on it Eek!! I love Fridays!! What's everyone up to this weekend? I'm meeting with our kitchen designer about the mudroom bench unit and bookcases for the living room....AND something for the new studio oh, and getting inky!!
This sketch was definitely a challenge for me! I started two different cards and ended up with one entirely different. When I finally settled on this one I couldn't find any light turquoise paper to match the bird in my dp, so I cut up a package insert. Love those inserts, Julee! : )
I've just gotten back from the gallery...wowzers, ladies...rockin' it BIG time!! So glad you weren't thrown by those circles You were all so early, you COULD make another one for fun!! LOL

Since I needed to make Thank you cards for contributors to a fund-raising event in November, I thought the Viva La Verve sketches would be a great way to do a little mass production. So I made four cards with the week 3 sketch.
