Wow!! What a fantastic month of sketches!! I hope you've had a chance to participate, and have been inspired by these designs to join in. I'm honored to be able to share the 5th and final sketch of the month, tilted panels and all. *wink*
Details:
Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win the ENTIRE next Verve stamp release! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For May, we've had FIVE sketches! All five cards must be uploaded to the VLVMay2011 gallery and linked up in the VLVLMAY2011 Sketch CHAMPIONS thread by midnight, CST on Thursday, June 2nd to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on June 3rd! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVMay2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps).
Some info:
If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery:
If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges... VLVMay2011. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in the VLVMay2011 Gallery. If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVMay2011 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery.
Thanks for the sketch - Toshe, I want to say I took a quick look to find your cards in the gallery, and did not see them right off. They are great examples - I especially like the second one. Thank you!
Tosh!!!!!!! Didn't you have a skewed panel sketch last time you hosted??!! And now you are sneaking in three panels across the bottom too!! You may have to check me out of the looney bin after I attempt this one LOL! Hear me screaming all the way down there yet Okay, I'm taking a deeeeep breath to oxygenate the old brain and resuscitate my one creative gene who promptly passed out upon viewing this sketch. Darn lure of some free Verve gets me every time LOL! Off to see what I can do - wish me luck

I'm truly sorry Marisa, but I know you crank out FABULOUS tilted cards. For some reason, the pressure works for you. And since you've faced your fear so often by now, mine should be a piece of cake.

It's bad enough to have yucky bugs in the house, but to be kept from getting crafty, that's baaaaaaaaaaad!!! So glad you're able to get creative again Jackie!

Hear!! Hear!! {think that's the spelling??}. Marissa has been cranking out some titled panels, so just a few "straight" ones at the bottom, right... YOU can do it!! Looks who's talking-- I am way behind but, close on 2, 3, and 4.

I made them all use my sketch. There were consequences to my sharing my room and supplies....bwahahahahaha...however, not a one complained about the tilted panels.
And oh, what a blast it would be to visit with you Marisa!! It would be crazy fun!! And BC is a gorgeous place to visit for sure!!
As for my "eh"....I lived with Canadians for a year my Senior year of college, and the lingo stuck. lol
Still waiting to see what you do with my sketch...tap...tap...tap....
After a loooooong battle with this card, I finally got it done. My poor little creative gene is now in the ICU recovering and my house still hasn't been cleaned LOL! Phew, that was one paper battle! Promise no skewed panels on your next sketch, okay, Tosh???!!!! Pretty pleeeeease with Strope Waffles on top LOL!
