Hello everyone, Andrea here! It's my pleasure to host this week's Viva la Verve Sketch. This year we decided to make the last week of each month a CAS (Clean and Simple) sketch. Personally, I find these a lot harder than loading my cards up with tons of papers and embellishments, but I enjoy the CAS style very much (usually admiring from afar, though. ) I have to tell you though that I jumped right into this one and guess what? YOU CAN DO IT! So let's see some of your awesomeness fill up that gallery, yes?
Here are the Details: Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win a $100 gift certificate to VERVE! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For March, we'll have FOUR sketches! All FOUR cards must be uploaded to the VLVMar2012 gallery by midnight, CST on Thursday, March 29th to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on March 30th! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVMar2012 and Verve (if using Verve stamps).
If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery:
If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges... VLVMar2012. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in the VLVMar2012 Gallery
If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVMar2012 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery.

What a great sketch! I have it all printed out. I hope to play later on tonight or tomorrow. My daughter has two performances today with the Missoula Children's Theater and than means I have to be there all day to help
I always feel like I need just a little something more with a CAS style card. I liked the idea of fitting one of the sentiments from Always On My Mind inside the little flourishy frame from To the Moon. My "little something more" ah-ha moment came when I thought of how nicely they both might line up on the scallop square peekaboo frame die from Stampin' Up. So I could hide an extra complimentary sentiment inside the frame, too! So fun!!
This card will probably go to OWH...
WooHoo...love to hear those words..."easy peasy...lemon squeezy!" The last part I added Off to check out your card, Colleen, and the rest of the lovelies adorning the gallery!
