**Viva la Verve! March 2011 Week 1 {2/25/11-3/3/11}**
Good morning! Everybody ready for another month of Viva la Verve SKETCHINESS??? I don't know about you, but I am LOVING all the Diva's sketches! So many fun new layouts to try
Details:
Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month. The winner will be announced on the next day and will win the ENTIRE next Verve stamp release! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For March, we'll have FIVE sketches! All five cards must be uploaded to the VLVMar2011 gallery by midnight, CST on Thursday, March 31st to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on April 1st! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVMar2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps)
A HUGE thanks to Diva's Andrea, Maureen, Teresa and Jackie for helping me with samples this week! I'm in the US spending time with my family so I wasn't able to prepare a sample! Hope you enjoy this weeks sketch!

Little type on the winner announcement date - believe it should read April 1st...which is rather fishy to start with, so maybe March 1st is a better date LOL!

This is my first attempt to upload a card for the challenge, and it failed miserably but I do have it up on my blog...another new thing for me. So if anyone would like a peek here it is.

I really liked this sketch...think it's my favorite so far, or at least among them. I made my hubby a 40th birthday card for this past weekend. Thanks for the help!!
I had to leave off the 3 little eyelets. Just liked it better with out... And, I used ribbon, instead of the star. What a great sketch, I know I'll use it again. Here's mine:
