Default **Viva la Verve! January 2011 - Week 3 {1/14/11}**
Wow!! I can hardly believe it's time for the 3rd VLV sketch of 2011. Already this year is flying by. This week is my first time hosting, and I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Details:
Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month. The winner will be announced on the next day and will win the ENTIRE next month's stamp release! How awesome is that?!

For January, we'll have FOUR sketches! All cards must be uploaded to the VLVJan2011 gallery by midnight, CST on January 27th! Winner will be announced on January 28th! GOOD LUCK!

Keywords for the entire month will be VLVJan2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps)

I want to thank the divas for such wonderful samples!! And I love what everyone's done with this sketch...tilted panel and all. And, here's a little secret....I sooooo struggle with tilted panels also. This sketch was a challenge for me also.

AAAAaaaack, what are you doing to me with that skewed panel sketch - and on my birthday month to boot!!! Tooooosh!!!! Said in my best "mad mommy" voice LOL!

Deep breath....."embrace the skewed panel, Marisa, make it your friend"....exhale....deep breath...."embrace the skewed panel, Marisa, make it your friend"....exhale.....it's not working just yet....!!! Okay, found a solution, I just have to tip my head to the side and it looks straight. May have to make it straight and then tip my card fore the picture LOL!

lol, I have a similar solution...make it straight, close your eyes, tilt it to the left and then run!! This one wasn't bad...but 2 or 3 would make me spin!!
