Good morning! Sorry to bring this sketch a day late, but I know you've had LOTS of sketch challenges to finish yesterday (Verve WCMD sketches!) so I didn't want to overwhelm you with another one
**The Deets**
Each week I'll post a sketch for you to base your card on. For the month of October, I'll have Fall and Halloween inspiration photos! Complete all the challenges for a chance to win our next release. Verve stamps are not required, but we love to see' em if you've got 'em!
For October there will be 4 sketch challenges! All 4 sketch challenges MUST be uploaded to the SCS gallery by midnight on October 28th. The winner will be announced on October 29th. Have fun!
Our keywords for October will be Verve (if using Verve stamps) and VLVOct2010. The keywords will remain the same ALL MONTH, please make sure to add the keyword correctly or your cards won't show up in the gallery!
Today, instead of inspiration pictures, I wanted to give you a color challenge! Along with this sketch, lets use the following colors: Brown,Orange,Turquoise, and White!
Super simple. I let the dp and central shape do the work.
My blue is probably a little light and soft to be called turquoise, but that paper just seemed to fit the bill! I also used the main panel for my sentiment, and used a ribbon element in place of the horizontal space for the sentiment in the sketch.
This is my first month playing along with VLV and I was wondering how to get a photo into the gallery. I've added the key words but it hasn't shown up. Any tricks? Many thanks from a newb!
I see your card in the gallery and it's GORGEOUS! It usually takes a few minutes for your upload to show up and if you're not a fan club member, cards have to be approved before they show up which could take a couple hours. Love these colours, but it took me a long time to figure out what to do! But that's the fun of it! I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge for this week and ended up stamping and embossing all of my background papers.

It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Why is it that sometimes we make mountains from molehills? Four colors, some ink, Verve stamps!!!! Sounds simple enough. thanks, Amber, hope you get your computer back up to par. Here's my entry or week two.
