Hello there my sweet friends! It's OCTOBER already! Holy cow! I can't believe how FAST September went! Halloween is fast approaching, Thanksgiving is sneaking up on us, and Christmas decorations are already out at the BX! EEEK! So exciting, I *LOOOOOVE* this time of year, my favorite, for sure!!!!!!
Are you ready for another month of fun?
**The Deets**
Each week I'll post a sketch for you to base your card on. For the month of October, I'll have Fall and Halloween inspiration photos! Complete all the challenges for a chance to win our next release. Verve stamps are not required, but we love to see' em if you've got 'em!
For October there will be 4 sketch challenges! All 4 sketch challenges MUST be uploaded to the SCS gallery by midnight on October 28th. The winner will be announced on October 29th. Have fun!
Our keywords for October will be Verve (if using Verve stamps) and VLVOct2010. The keywords will remain the same ALL MONTH, please make sure to add the keyword correctly or your cards won't show up in the gallery!

Finally found time to play
I loved both the sketch and the inspiration photos! ( I also "mixed" them all on my sample *wink*)
Here's my card: Best Wishes
Thanks for looking!
I wanted to eat that cake so badly!! LOL. But I used the softer colors in it, and the swirly intricate design in the icing as inspiration for my card. Thought the yellow sunflower could replace the big yellow flower on top, too.
Ever since I checked out this challenge the candle picture was the one calling my name but I couldn't work out a card. Well today I hung in there and made this card for my niece who is at Uni and has just damaged her hand falling up some stairs at her part time work and will be in a sling for 6 weeks - us girls know how tricky fastening the bra can be with one hand out of action!
Here is my week one challenge card. This one was such a hard sketch for me... I wanted to do a oval, but have no oval die cuts and refuse to free hand one so it made my brain work a little!
WHEW!! It's been a while since I've been able to stamp, so I'm pretty pleased with how this card turned out. I chose the first photo as my inspiration.
