Hey sketch friends! Janelle here and I'm so excited to be hosting the Viva La Verve sketch this week. I'm having fun lately making my own coordinating washi tape so I built in a place on the sketch for those who share their love and collection of the trendy tape. It's not required to use it on the sketch, but I would love to see you use it if you have an inch to spare.
The sketch can be flipped, rotated, shape changed and more. Let's have some fun with it and show me your creativity!
~Details~
Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win a $100 gift certificate to VERVE! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For November, we'll have FOUR sketches! All FOUR cards must be uploaded to the VLVNov2012 gallery by midnight, CST on Thursday, November 29th to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on November 30th! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVNov2012 and Verve (if using Verve stamps).
If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery...
If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges...VLVNov2012. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in the Gallery.
If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVNov2012 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery.
I've got some fabulous samples to share from Maureen, Teresa and Tosha. Thanks sweet Divas!
The creative wheels go round and round, round and round, round and round, the creative wheels go round and round, all through the day.... A big "hmmmmm....." occuring here LOL!

Took you up on your challenge, Janelle. I only have one roll of washi tape, this black with white dots from the Witch Hazel Halloween collection, but I centered my card around it and this wonderful sentiment from Bountiful Harvest that I knew I wanted to make its way onto a card for Thanksgiving. The color palette may be a bit of a stray from traditional harvest colors, but I like how it came out! This will be going to dh.
Thanks for helping me to dip into my tape! Love the torn edges to it.
