Hi everyone! Have you been enjoying the Viva la Verve Sketches this month? I hope so! I'm so excited to be hosting Week 4 in May!!
Details: Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win the ENTIRE next Verve stamp release! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For May, we'll have FIVE sketches! All five cards must be uploaded to the VLVMay2011 gallery by midnight, CST on Thursday, June 2nd to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on June 3rd! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVMay2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps).
Some info:
If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery:
If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges... VLVMay2011. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in the VLVMay2011 Gallery. If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVMay2011 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery.
I hope you have fun with the sketch and I can't wait to see what you create! Here is my sample as well as some gorgeous samples for you from Maureen, Dawn and Andrea!
Going to have to think my way through this one. Great sketch, Charmaine, and wonderful samples Divas

oops! Marisa informed me about the 3 panels in the background!! I was soooo focused on the fleur de lis corners I paid no attention to the panels!! Sorry!! just imagine they are there
I know we all look forward to the new releases, but I have to say I don't mind a break once in a while. Julee's decision not to have a new release this month allowed me to scoop up a couple of past sets I've been wanting. One was the "One Person" set I used for this card. Pretty flowers, as all Verve flower sets are, but really lovely sentiments, too.
I used this great sketch for my tea party card! FISHY FRIEND

I too had a little trouble with the photo corners but I got it done - thanks to all the beautiful and amazing examples from the Divas and posters - you girls sure know what you're doing!
I was excited to see the photo corners on this sketch. I have a brand new, still in the package photo corner punch that's been sitting neglected in my punch holder for over a year now. Yay! It's been opened and used. Here's my card.
