Happy Friday Everyone! My dear friend is having a first birthday for her little girl and I wanted to make a special baby girl card and had fun creating this card with this week's sketch - can't wait to see your sketch creation!
Details:
Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win the ENTIRE next Verve stamp release! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For June, we'll have FOUR sketches! All four cards must be uploaded to the VLVJune2011 gallery by midnight, CST on Thursday, June 30th to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on July 1st! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVJun2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps).

**Some Upload Information**
If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery:
If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges... VLVJun2011. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in the VLVJun2011 Gallery.
If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVJun2011 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery.

good luck, Vickie!! I'm going to spend a little time in the gallery and get caught up...darn this full time job and report cards!! But I see the summer right around the corner!!
Happy to have squeezed in some time this evening to work on this, but I just realized it's just minutes after midnight, so it probably won't show up in the gallery until Monday. But thanks for looking when you get a chance!
This sketch was a lot of fun. I love my pink and grey scheme. And I especially had fun with the bottom border. MFT sells a mini filmstrip die that I actually got thinking it would be so cute to use on a scrapbook page. But it popped into my mind when I saw this sketch, and so I cut out every other vertical bar and used it to frame my three sections. I think it turned out cute. Let me know what you think!
Thanks. Hope everyone has a great week (and a happy father's day if you are spending it with the loved men in your lives!)
What a wonderful sketch! It totally inspired me! Angie and I worked on the sketch together and agreed on a one-hour time limit. Paper scraps were flying and now that I'm posting the link and looking at the sketch again, I realize I totally forgot the ribbon!!!! Oops...

Hi, Kim...I love that card! Great job on that sketch challenge! My son and I always say that to each other before we go to sleep at night. Only he responds, "I love you past heaven and back!" ;D
