**Viva la Verve! January 2011--Week 1 {12/31/10}**
I know it's not technically the new year YET, but it will be in 3 hours for me
Are you ready for a new year of VLV challenges? I have a surprise for you this year...actually TWO!
#1--No more inspiration, lol! This year, all you get are sketches so you can let your beautiful inspiration take you where it will!
#2--The rest of the Diva's are going to help me this year! I'll post the first sketch each month and announce the previous month's winner, and the rest of the Diva's will take over the rest of the month! How fun is that? Now there are even more sketch styles to throw at you I'm super excited for this year so let's get it on!
Details:
Every Friday, myself and the other Diva's will post a sketch for your enjoyment Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by last Thursday of the month. The winner will be announced on the next day and will win the ENTIRE next months stamp release! Just ask any of our previous winners just how AWESOME that is!
For January, we'll have FOUR sketches! All cards must be uploaded to the VLVJan2011 gallery by midnight, CST on January 27th! Winner will be announced on January 28th! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVJan2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps)

Although I've not had the chance to play with the inspiration photos, I really enjoyed seeing what was selected each week. Looking forward to making time to play along next year. Beautiful samples Amber & Teresa!

Excited to start out the year with Verve.
In addition to Valentine's Day, my anniversary and my husband's birthday are in February. So I thought I better get a jumpstart.
Thanks for the inspiration. This little card came together quickly. I was excited to pick up Love Story through Julee's awesome end of the year sale.
I just love that frame...sure am hoping for a die to match in the near future! {hint, hint! LOL}

Just checked out your gorgeous card, Carol Those papers have me wanting to travel to a really cool Scrapbook Store 2 hours away to get some new designer paper You've picked a great set to start out with I believe that is the set that all the Divas at the time chose a quote and Julee made them into the set
Oh, I think you also need to have this uploaded into the January gallery...if you go into edit on your photo, add VLVJan2011 and Verve to the keyword box
I uploaded my card to my own gallery with the keywords of Verve and VLVJan2011. Will it automatically get put in the VLVJan2011 gallery or do I need to upload it to another place? Thanks for your help.

Yep, it will automatically go to those galleries as well. I always double check my key words by clicking on them after I upload my cards to make sure I haven't typed them incorrectly...if I get to those galleries, I know I've done it properly....love the card btw!!

Mojo is on strike as it is still on vacation so I wimped out and went white on white so I didn't have to deal with DPs in the panels LOL! Sloooooowly getting back into the swing again Here's my cheater card.
