Ready for a new challenge?
*The Deets**
Every month this year we'll walk through a different room and every week I'll bring you some inspiration pictures of different rooms. You can use these inspiration pictures in any way you want--a color combo, a texture, a style, anything your heart desires! There will also of course be a sketch, the backbone of our challenges! So using the weekly sketches, you'll create an inspired card based on one of the photos provided. I'll also allow your own room to be your inspiration! Of course the only stipulation to this is that you must use the room we're walking-through for that month. Complete all the challenges for a chance to win our next release. Verve stamps are not required, but we love to see' em if you've got 'em!
For August, we are walking through master bedrooms and there will be 4 sketch challenges! All 4 sketch challenges MUST be uploaded to the SCS gallery by midnight on Aug 26th. The last week of the month, I will post a Sketch Challenge Champions thread for you to link all of your projects. One lucky participant will win our next month's entire release. The winner will be announced on Aug 27th. Have fun!
VERY IMPORTANT: Keywords this month are going to be Verve (if using Verve stamps) and VLVAug2010 (make sure to spell the keyword out right so it will show up in the gallery.
This week our inspiration comes from dunelm-mill.com! There is some seriously gorgeous bedding at this site, I loved browsing! I've uploaded three of my favorites, but if you see a different set that inspires you, by all means use it! Just link up a picture so we can see it too
Amber...I chose the sexy room, but I have had lots of orders for sympathy cards..so that is what I made. Thanks goodness, I don't need it.
I think people like to keep sympathy cards on hand more than any other cards, it makes it easy at such a difficult time not to have to run get one, kwim? Any who, here is mine
oh, changed my mind!! I wanted to do the first one, but that third one with the flowers called to me today...got to use the soon to be released Fabulous You set...and I'm practising the attachment thing again for tonight!
Fabulous card, Ulyth! If you go to "Gallery" and "upload a card" you can add this to the VLVAug2010 gallery! Let me know if you aren't sure how to do that, I can walk you through it LOVE this card!
