Good morning and TGIF! Ready for another month of challenges???
**The Deets**
Every month this year we'll walk through a different room and every week I'll bring you some inspiration pictures of different rooms. You can use these inspiration pictures in any way you want--a color combo, a texture, a style, anything your heart desires! There will also of course be a sketch, the backbone of our challenges! So using the weekly sketches, you'll create an inspired card based on one of the photos provided. I'll also allow your own room to be your inspiration! Of course the only stipulation to this is that you must use the room we're walking-through for that month. Complete all the challenges for a chance to win our next release. Verve stamps are not required, but we love to see' em if you've got 'em!
For August, we are walking through master bedrooms and there will be 4 sketch challenges! All 4 sketch challenges MUST be uploaded to the SCS gallery by midnight on Aug 26th. The last week of the month, I will post a Sketch Challenge Champions thread for you to link all of your projects. One lucky participant will win our next month's entire release. The winner will be announced on Aug 27th. Have fun!
Keywords this month are going to be Verve (if using Verve stamps) and VLVAug2010 (make sure to spell the keyword out right so it will show up in the gallery.
Our inspiration pictures for this week come from Bed Bath and Beyond! If you don't want to use one of the pictures I've chosen, feel free to find something else on the website, but make sure it's in the "bedding" section and link up a picture you chose to inspire you!

Loved this sketch Amber and used it for my Anni-VERVE-sary blog hop card. The inspiration choices are gorgeous, too, although I chose my own inspiration since I was craving a girly card! Isn't this bedding so fun?
I am over a week behind and totally shattered tonight but did get this assembled this morning before I went into the office. I used inspiration picture two and made this for one of the Fulham fans in the family.
Shall I give it one more try and try to get it correct?
Week one I chose the room with the olives, turquoises, and hit it with a red ribbon. New technique that I saw here Alcohol Ink Faux Bleach. It was fun and lead me in other directions for another card...fun, fun, fun. Thanks, Amber!!
