I was a little put off by this sketch at first but after reading the tuturial it was easy and I loved the way it all came together. I even did a little stitching. great sketch.
Well, I am kind of wishing I had read about and viewed that excellent tutorial first! How did I miss that!?!? Hilarious ... I quickly sketched the sketch last Friday and then of course had little on no time to play ALL week. This was kind of a throw together .. one day I ran in and grabbed paper while I was waiting for the washing machine to finish, next time chose some stamps while waiting for potatoes to boil, randomly cut paper while waiting on hold ... you know how it goes! The size alone; 5 something by 6 something, shows how crazy this card making session was for me!
On a positive note, this completes my first month of Verve Sketches! I found the site, I did all 4 sketches, I have new cards ready to give, I really stretched and crawled out of my box a bit ... I ordered way TOO Many new stamps after the release - that should be here any day - so I guess I will have to show them off and play next month too! Thanks for looking!
HUGE Gratitude to the WONDERFUL team of DIVAS; I have never been so inspired! Your artwork is incredible!! Thank YOU!
Fun! I used up a bunch of scraps for mine. I just drew out a little pattern on a piece of scrap paper sized the same as my card, cut out the pieces, and used them to trace on the back of my papers.
I liked this sketch. It was a fun one. As I usually do, I winged it. Started cutting papers and it worked the first time. That part, however, is unusual!
I'm just a bit behind, but I LOVE this sketch & had to give it a go! I went with the obvious rainbow theme Thanks for the great tutorial, too, Shannan - made it so quick to put together!
