Hello Verve fans, I am luvin your creations this month! Don't forget about the release party tonight, you won't want to miss it.....it is going to be Amazing!
Details: Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will receive the ENTIRE next Verve stamp release! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
For April, we'll have FOUR sketches! All four cards must be uploaded to the VLVAPR2011 gallery by midnight, CST on Thursday, April 28th to be eligible to win this month's prize! Winner will be announced on May 1st! GOOD LUCK!
Keywords for the entire month will be VLVApr2011 and Verve (if using Verve stamps).
Some info:
If you're new to the gallery, here's a little info on how to add your cards to our gallery: If you haven't uploaded your cards yet, just click the Upload a Card link in the left sidebar. Keep the default category as Member Galleries. Then follow the form to browse to the photo of your card on your computer, enter a title and description then click upload/submit. On the next screen it asks you for the ingredients of the card and also has a Keyword section. In this section type the keyword for this month's challenges... VLVApr2011. When you're done filling things out, click process. It takes a few minutes to show up in our challenge gallery but as long as you've got the correct keyword, your photo will eventually appear in the VLVApr2011 Gallery.
If you've already uploaded your cards, you can edit the keywords by going to the photo in your gallery. In the bottom right corner under the information below the picture, there is an Edit Photo button. Click this, then in the Edit keywords section add the VLVApr2011 keyword and then click process. These changes take about 10 minutes or so to appear, but then your card should appear in our challenge gallery.
Here is this week's sketch along with a sample from myself and Maureen
Wow! Another great sketch with fabulous samples. I so, have to get started on these. I just purchased a new Cricut Cartridge called Elegant Edges and I can cut out all kinds of borders which will be perfect for today's sketch!
eek!!! Teresa you sure know how to work a sketch!! LOVE what you've come up with for us this week...sure got me out of my sketch "rut." Work is just starting, but I'll be thinking about cards and the release night tonight!!
Great sketch, Teresa! Hope to get to the party tonight, but it's my daughter's birthday (my baby turns 23) and we will go out for dinner. Here's MY CARD.

Great sketch! Loved it! Can't wait to try again ... I say that because I tried to combine challenges again and every time I do, it just doesn't work out for me. I'm combining challenges challenged.
Anyway, Here was my try:
Seriously LOVED the sketch though, so stay tuned, I'm going to try again
Was that an incredible reveal last night or what!?!?! I am so super excited to get my new stamps! Way too excited! That was a fun party; how on Earth do you people stay caught up!?! I feel like I missed so much ... and there's a chocolate smear on my F5 key so trust me, I was using that ... there's proof!

I don't know if you saw my comment on your blog, Teresa, but when I first saw your sample for this one, I thought you had altered a notebook. Which...inspired me to do so! I needed a gift for my son's teacher, and have a few of these cool kraft notebooks with pens, perfect for altering, in my stash.
And so, here is my altered notebook using your sketch. Thanks so much!

Okay; loving this sketch so much I made a few more ... two, true to the sketch and two, slight variations. Here's #1 Here's #2 Here's #3 Here's #4
On the last two, I just used stamps to replace the actual squares and circles ... I used CTMH paper but Verved it up by stamping the Verve flowers over the CTMH flowers that were on the paper ... to make them stand out a bit more.
finally, was able to comment of Nicole's notebook and 4my4 cards, the gallery was super slow showing up....that is the one good thing about being a Fan Club member you don't have to wait for your cards to show up....and you get to see the Dirty Dozen creations each month....amazing stuff! You can learn more about that here...... Join the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club: Special Galleries, Forums & More
Chocolate on the keyboard - love it LOL! You'll get the hang of the fast moving thread after a party or two. Was great meeting a fellow BCer Told my kids the bobcat story and they both though that was really amazing! Glad you found Verve and look forward to seeing your cards for the challenges
