Italy - Tuscan Wine & Cheese - by berlycece - Friday, Dec. 11 - 6 pm EST - DEC15VSNB
Challenge Title: Tuscan Wine & Cheese!
Hostess: berlycece (Kim)
Keyword: DEC15VSNB
Date: Friday December 11 @ 6 pm EST
Ciao amici!Vuoi un bicchiere di vino questa sera?
Our destination is Italy, especially the rustic and beautiful hills of Tuscany, where vineyards color the landscape. My husband and I were blessed to take a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Italy in 2013. I actually wasn't much of a wine drinker before that, but I spent months practicing. I wanted my palette to learn to enjoy wine...and it worked! LOL I really like Chianti, a wine from central Tuscany. We also enjoyed so many fresh cheeses and breads; not sure how much weight I gained on that trip!
My challenge to you is to make a project featuring an image of wine, hopefully with some cheese added. You can serve your wine on a checkered table cloth if you wish...or with elegant candles...anything your imagination drums up.
In addition to cards, you can make another project with this theme...maybe a gorgeous Tuscan tag for a bottle of wine you plan to give to your friend?
I can hardly wait to see what you create!

Yes! I have a set from CTMH that is all about grapes and vineyards. There is a stamp of wine and cheese in that set AND I have checked vellum. Don't know if I will use the vellum, but I am definitely using that stamp! Great challenge!
Those Italian men! ;). My grandfather is Italian, from Concho (not sure of the spelling), and a good friend of ours is Italian. Both are charmers for sure!
Am I the only person in the world without a wine stamp?
I never developed a taste for wine so I never thought of getting a wine stamp. After my attempt at drawing a bottle and glass of wine, I think I'll invest in a stamp! LOL
BTW ... when I click on the link in the first post that says to view the gallery, I get this message: "Sorry, we came up empty on your search terms. Check your spelling?"
I am late to the party! But Melissa I don't have a wine stamp either! . But I have grapes. Thinking I will go with that. Is that ok Kim? BtW,beloved your photos!
Hmmm...the link works for me. Not sure what the glitch might be.
Regarding the image...I probably would not have purchased my stamp if I had not had my big vacation. I rarely order individual stamps on line, or even purchase in a store. Nearly everything is a set.
Do you have grapes? Leaves, vines? Even something like a wine barrel? Some fun images of women drinking wine? (I'm thinking of an old MFT stamp set) Don't worry too much about having the "right" image...feel free to think outside the box.
The main goal is to have FUN!!
