Challenge Title: The Hills Are Alive
Hostess: meerkat3 (Leslie)
Keyword: JUN14VSNG
Date: Saturday, Jun 7, 2014, 3:00 PM EST
When my kids were young, I took them on a big vacation each year. One was a road trip through Maine and New England, and it included a drive up Mt Washington in New Hampshire. One summer we went to Colorado, and we could see Pike's Peak from our hotel lobby. We also drove up Pike's Peak. Yeah, wild times with thin air and no guard rails.
So my challenge for you is to include either mountains or hills in your project.

It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your layout is seen. THANKS SO MUCH FOR PLAYING ALONG!!!
Attached is the sponged card I started last night but gave up on because I thought it was bleah. But DH says I should go ahead and turn it into a card.
It is sort of what I wanted, in that I have umpteen photos of slightly misty ranges of hills, one layer behind another (hills here, mountains in Greece). But I think I stamped the sentiment crooked (with the SAMJ, ha, and the foreground isn't right. Worst case, it's only a quarter sheet of cardstock in the bin. But maybe trees in the foreground might rescue it - I'll think about that!
And thanks for the keyword heads-up. It's the only one I didn't copy and paste . I have a summer head-cold and I'm only firing on about two cylinders at most.

When I saw the title I thought of The Sound of Music. LOL! Isn't that one of the songs she sings. Anyway, great challenge. I love mountainous scenes. I really enjoy some of our trips to northern PA when we go camping and we drive amongst some of the tree filled mountains. Nothing like some of the ones you've mentioned but still beautiful. Will need to dig out my scenic stamps to do this one.
