Edited: I just reread my post and it didn't sound sweet and nice like I meant it. In the future if I ever do one of these VSN's again I will get the proper approval. I believe they only want 1 a month so no more spur of the moment challenges. Even the thumbnails put too much strain on the sight and too much traffic. I hope everyone has a great night. Sorry to cancel but I just don't want the worry of people talking about me doing something that was not done the right way. I'd rather have a happy night stamping. I am a "by the book" person and I don't like to break any rules. :cool:
I'm sorry too. Thank you for the idea and the posted list of challenges. I will be stamping too and thinking of and thanking you for giving me some inspiration tonight.
I was syked up! I was just about to put the kids to bed and get busy stamping and scrapping this snowy night away! Church has been cancelled for the morning services so I could sleep in... I know I can still do them, but it helps keep me going knowing that other people are doing the same thing at the same time, not to mention... I love seeing other people's stuff! Thanks for the idea....

Ya would it be OK to do that? We could do the challenges that you posted and label them and just upload them on Monday. Would be nice if we could!
Yes, I posted a few spontaneous challenges one day... nothing quite this organized... but it was just a "hey, if you're here and bored, go do a challenge" type thing.... no prizes or anything....
She didn't get in trouble. We just told her that it would be good to give us a heads up, if you are planning a VSN. Remember, approval of scans is done manually.We have to be here to handle all the approving. Jenn is in Milwaukee and I was gone all afternoon at a workshop. Emily and Sharon where here, but because so many people are in the gallery and uploading, approval is extremely slow. We just told her that we would appreciate a heads up. We didn't tell her she had to stop, nor did we get mad! We are good people! But it's a lot of work, and it is a lot better if we know about it for a while before hand so we can put it on our schedule!

I had a let down this weekend and these challenges made me stop feeling sorry for myself and get stampin. This is great place, because of the moderators and those of us who just hang here.

Anything uploaded to the gallery needs approval -- it's only attachments to threads in the forum that don't, and even then the mods might have to go in and remove anything that shouldn't be there.
Don't be afraid to try again after you give the powers that be a little heads-up first!

Totally understandable...I almost asked if this had been approved but thought it most likely had been. Suppose I should have went with my instincts. Anywhoo, it was a great idea. Thanks Robyn and Beate!
Robyn, we still want to see your bee-yoo-tiful cards that you make. Quite an ambitious lady you are! And I need to come up with a Spring card for a swap anyway, so you've motivated me to get out my stamps and ink and get going, since DH isn't feeling well anyway.

Woooo hooo thanks to Robyn I got 2 cards made and the card I wanted to send to Cheryl Penner along with something I have ready for her little girl for last weeks VSN kids challenge. Now if I only had Robyns addy I would keep stamping and make her a RAK card too. ( aren't I subtle )
You're soooo funny!! You don't have to send me a RAK. Just keep making your beautiful cards and upload them this week. I'll be sure that I comment on them. Can't wait to see them..

I printed out all the challenges and left the computer to work on them all at one time so I didn't even know it was canceled until I had finished them all. I will still upload them on Monday. Thanks for trying, Robyn.
