Title: Smooth and Rough Texture
Hostess: annsforte3, Ann
Day/Date: Saturday, September 7, 2013
Time: 3:00 PM EST
My challenge for you today is all about texture! As you know, texture is one of our five senses (including how something feels when we touch it)! We can also tell texture by how something looks visually!
So, for this challenge, please use the two opposite forms of texture (smooth and rough) on your card! I cannot wait to see what you come up with! Please share with us your texture ideas for your cards!
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Saturday, September 14th.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, SEP13VSNH, when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. PLEASE UPLOAD ALL YOUR CARDS TO THE Opposites Attract Gallery.
Geez, I totally spaced on this one. My sample, finished last week, was for hard and soft! So, I quickly put together another card that really follows the directions. Ha! It was supposed to be rough, but I made it hard-- Smooth move. I must be soft in the head.
Hi, Ann - wow, how fun and challenging this was! I mixed together some joint compound, glue and pink liquid pearls to make a thick paste and dipped the stamp into it and stamped it all over my panel. Whew, it worked. Had to use the heat tool to speed up the drying process, just took a couple minutes to set up. Thanks for the 'push' I needed to give this a try.
