Well I know where my brayers (I have 4) are, because I use them often. The sequins, however, may need a manhunt.

I sure don't have any sequins handy...and it is sure faster to go buy more than hunt for what I MAY have stashed SOMEWHERE!

I am pretty sure you can get a generic pack of sequins at Walmart, Hobby Lobby or Michaels, even Target with the kids arts & crafts supplies for a dollar or two, if that is the only thing stopping some folks.

I bought my sequins during Christmas at Michaels. They were with the ornament decorating suppllies and children's crafts. Since they are putting out Christmas stuff now, you might find some there. Finding the brayer is going to be the challenge!

What about checking your closet for that Christmas or New Years sweater that you wear once a year and hijacking a couple sequins from it? What's a little sacrifice in the name of papercrafting? LOL

VSN is a fun night of challenges that are offered back to back. Crafters use 45 minutes to make their card, of course this doesn't include think time and time spent locating your supplies You can play as many as you like and you don't have to play them real time, although people do.

This thread might help you and this one too!

If I didn't answer your question, ask again.

Well, I am a copycat, not creative, so I am going to try this, after reading the links you gave me, I think I might get out of my comfort zone and at least learn something! What time does it start in California?

I have scoured every nook and cranny that I thought might contain some sequins -- no luck! Guess I'll have to make a quick trip to Michaels on my way home from work today! Got a 50% off coupon in my e-mail yesterday -- I may do a little "other than sequins" shopping while I'm there. LOL!

Wow, 20 minutes of hunting for sequins! I'll bet it was because of all the other distracting items in Joann's!

I now have sequins! It was not easy, though. I went to Michaels at lunch and looked in the kids' crafts, where I thought they would have some. They had big bags of stuff (some of which contained some sequins) for $5.00 -- not exactly what I was looking for. I asked a clerk. He wasn't sure and called someone who told him that that was all they had. He then suggested that I try Joann. So I got my sticky strip that I needed and checked out (planning to try Joann on my way home). When I was checking out, the clerk asked me if I found everything that I wanted, and I said "well, no. I was looking for sequins." He directed me to the jewelry department -- "over there on the orange wall." Lo and behold, the man knew what he was talking about. They had exactly what I was looking for -- sequins in a container for $2.99. Plus I had that 50% off coupon that I had printed off from my e-mail. So for $1.82 I saved a trip to Joann. Hooray! I'm all set!!!

I KNOW I have some - but WHERE?!! Looking at all these boxes and trying to guess (I labeled the 'big stuff' as content on the outside - not stuff like 'sequins') is like that game show form a while back with all the presents on them with numbers. I DID find my beaded fruit I made from my childhood (LOL!) but hate to pulls any off of them... Hubby will KILL me if I go to a craft store to buy MORE stuff right now that I already own just because I haven't unpacked the particular item yet...
