When the weather was warmer, at 10:00 every night Hunter, my 2 year old, and I would take our blanket and mum mums (my fleece pajama pants he confiscated) and go outside on the deck and rock to sleep under the stars. No matter how rowdy he was up to this point he would always calm right down when we'd head out in the dark. We'd sing the star song, whisper "I love you" and I would always tell him he was such an angel, even if I didn't think so 10 minutes before!
So my challenge to you is to make a card honoring or remembering an angel. It could be your child or your grandpa or anyone else who has touched your life in a special way. There are so many people I can think of in my life that the challenge would be to choose one.
Also because it is my favorite, let's see some distressing on this card! Some ripped paper, inked edges, you name it!

I can't believe I managed to do almost all today! I did about 4 ahead of time so that's not too shabby! I'm gonna head out now though, a long day of the fever monster and I am beat! I'll see you all tomorrow for lots of commenting! Goodnight!
We were outside rocking again the other night when the temps were a little milder until we heard something rustling in the leaves in the woods next to our house and we called it a night a little early! That night was one of the nights when he wasn't such an angel before bedtime and that was the only thing that would calm him down!

What a great challenge to end my day!! At first I wasn't sure who my angel would be. Then I remembered my nephew, whom I love like crazy, and how he's going through a tough time (bullies). So this is for him
Loved this challenge. I distressed all edges and sponged them with a darker ink. I also sponged crumb cake over the image after I watercolored it. I am giving this card to my dad. He is indeed an angel. My mother has cancer and he takes such good care of her. I told him he could probably become a nurse! TFL
Thank you girls for staying up so late for the last challenge! There are some wonderful cards in the gallery and I know more to come. Headed to bed now but will be checking out the creations tomorrow! Goodnight!

Well, I couldn't find this challenge! I didn't find it on the main challenge thread. But I saw cards in the gallery, so I looked for it! If you were hiding from me, I found you! Hehe! Here is my Angel Friend.
