NOV10VSNMINI2 ~ Friday, October 15th ~ 7:00pm EST ~ Nature’s Spotlight
Title: Nature’s Spotlight
Hostess: Libby, texan947
Keyword: NOV10VSNMINI2
Day/Date: Friday, October 15th
Time: 7:00pm EST
When I first saw the theme for this VSN, I thought of one of my favorite sights. I absolutely love when the sky is gray and overcast and suddenly, there is a break in all those clouds and a little bit of sun comes through. I always think of it as a natural spotlight. So my challenge for you is to make a card using the spotlight technique using the tutorial HERE .
VIEW THE GALLERY FOR THIS CHALLENGE HERE
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Monday October 18th
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, NOV10VSNMINI2, when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen.

Great challenge, Libby. I've been wanting to try the spotlight technique for awhile - just needed this challenge to get me going. Can't wait to see the cards in the gallery. I probably won't get mine posted until a little later this evening.

Oddly, I has seen it in the resources and hadn't actually tried it until I did the sample cards. I love the way it looks though.

As I live by myself, I made sure I ate dinner around 5:30 so that I could stamp without worrying about food.

Mine is having me order pizza for tonight, which is as close as he gets to bringing home dinner, or cooking it.

I'm on the West Coast, so VSN always overlaps dinner! When I can plan ahead, I put something in the crock pot or we get pizza. Hubby is pretty supportive of my hobby. His hobby (music) takes him out of the house!
