Reason: Auditions are now over!
Aww I have some fun ideas but that Sat I'm heading out early to do a Cub Scout sleepover at Battleship Cove and rushing home Sunday for a Mother/Daughter Girl Scout event! If anyone needs another idea, pm me and I'll share!

[STRIKE]I'll try to play a little friday, but can't offer to hostess cause I will be so busy through Sunday night that I'd never be able to judge in time :( But....
Hmmm is VSN reason enough to send hubby to the Cub Scout overnight? He's likely to take some odd photos and not really pursue things that my son wants to learn... easy way out kinda night... Whereas if I go we'll be storming their museum the next day with all the questions that he's dreamed up and making sure to do everything available to us!
I'm gonna have to think about this! hehe![/STRIKE]
Hmmm hubby is PROMISING to pursue all leads, take all optional classes and photos that he can, spend all day sunday at the museum, etc! So that means he wouldn't have to rush home in time for me to go to the Girl Scout event AND I can do VSN!!! Ok off to draft a challenge proposal!

Hee hee!

Thank you! Ok... I talked to hubby.. my son's trip would never be skipped but it was already a tight call for me to take him AND make it to the Girl Scout event later in the day on Sunday.. but Hubby is promising he'll do a better job than at the baseball overnight (where they backed out of everything optional... but it's cause hubby says he doesn't like sports but thinks he'll be more motivated this time and can try to live up to my standards of field tripping! hehe I mean one of the optional classes is morse code and my hubby's a programmer... any coded language is cool and a way to share it with his son is awesome). So I think I'm going to hold my breath and give him another shot! He did see how much my son loved the overnight at a science/nature museum when I took him and encouraged him to try everything and to stick around the next day for the museum and test out his theories (like if the white soft-shelled turtle was an herbavore or omnivore) on the daytime staff... so he knows that the more involved they are the more our son gets out of it
I can't wait! And my son had such a good time (he's 6), so I'm glad they're doing another kid challenge again. Although he has his school pizza party that evening, but we can start the challenge when he gets home.
BUMMER!! I was afraid it would be this weekend. This is the weekend I host my scrapbook crop! HMMMM...wonder if I could sneak away to the Library to ck out the challenges! LOL!!

Alright gals....it's on my calendar (but so have the last 2 and I missed them  )....cross your fingers, pray, whatever it takes to get my house re-contructed and my stamping stuff un-packed March 23!!!! :-| I WANNA PLAY!
Hee hee! Linda, you are too funny! And I must say that I LOVE your avatar! My favorite movie EVER! But then again, I don't think there is a movie that he has been in that I don't like! Uhhh...too many negatives there...I should just say...I love Johnny Depp!

So sad I won't get to play AGAIN! This month I am out of town with no stamping stuff. So I didn't get to play for Feb. As for March.... That is the same day as the SU Kansas City Regionals so I will gone to that. The tailgate party is the same day as the SCS dinner get together for those who are going to the regionals. Bummer deal. But I am sure you ladies will have bunches of fun!!

The good thing is...you have till noon on Saturday to upload your Friday tailgate challenge creations! All the SCSers going to dinner Friday night after Regionals should have one great big VSN tailgate party and stamp off that big ole dinner you're gonna have!!!
And you have until noon on Sunday to get your Saturday challenge creations in! If you can squeeze VSN into your weekend, we would love for you to join us! Maybe I'll see some of you in KC on Friday 3/24!!
I will see if I can squeeze it in. ;) I live two hours from KC. I am going to the dinner on Friday so that's why I wouldn't be able to do the tailgate. Then on Saturday by the time i get home my DH will be wanting me to be with him instead of stamp. But if i can't sleep Saturday night I will check it out. I know you will all have a great time though.
