Hey, just finished supper. We have a service to attend tonight and will be leaving shortly. I'll pick up on this when we get back or else start playing tomorrow.
GREAT challenge Melissa and it's really a challenge too...not sure i have on hand what it takes to make something like this but necessity is the mother of invention. later! have fun.
I didn't have any halloween-ish creepy crawlies & figured if i had to go cutesy might as well use the pumpkin bear i've had for years and NEVER used. lol I tried painting goosebumps texture ink onto the pumpkin for some gloss (faster than glossy accents). Still remains to be seen how it'll look when totally dry.
Okay, I spent 45 minutes just looking for my google eyes! (that doesn't count, though, right?) I knew I had a whole bunch and I never use them. Decided I was going to find them and use them! So, I did have a happy Halloween sentiment, and a Tim Holz EF that looks like a web. So I made this spider. I hope the google eyes count as shiney.
Here is Halloween Spider.

And that reminds me...I guess I could go after a cup of coffee and eat those Cadbury Mini Eggs I picked up in Michael's today. They were having a rockin' clearance sale...SMASH stuff...slashed!
how much slashed? I saw some notebooks for 3.00 off but that's all I saw earlier in the week.
Here is my super quick card! I just let the DP do all the work for this one. Thanks for the fun challenge! It felt so good to take a time out and create a card!
I'm afraid I had to wait till the crystal effects dryed a bit so it wouldn't run and I have used some artistic licence because my creepy crawly is only creepy and really he is cute more than creepy (thats the little bat)
Cheers

Here's my card MAR13VSNB- Reese's spider by Sarah T. - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
The spider is "shiny-ed up" with glossy accents and the chocolate? The bottom layer of the rosette is the wrapping from a Reeses PB cup. And let me tell you it did not want to stick. It's on there with glossy accents when everything else (scor tape, glue dots etc.) failed.

How cool! Took me a while to figure out what the wrapping from the PB cup was, as I was looking for the gold foil...and I had to read what you wrote a couple times...I need more coffee, k?
Love the card!

Hi Angie! Thos SMASH pads were 79 cents. The large books were $6.99 and the small books were $5.99. They had their tapes...$1.79 for two...BUT, they had colors I wanted for my DYMO labeler. Yellow, Royal Blue, PINK, HOT GREEN! I'm happy.

Here's my Glossy Monster Smiles . I didn't have any creepy crawly bug stamps, so I used creepy slimy monster stamps. I did meet the Halloween requirement and had no problem meeting the chocolate requirements!
