MAR12VSNMINI4 ~ Friday, Feb 10th - 8PM EST ~ Poppin' Posies
Title: Poppin' Posies
Hostess: stampin-sunnychick
Keyword: MAR12VSNMINI4
Day/Date: Friday, February 10th
Time: 8:00 PM EST
Your challenge is to create a card using posies as inspiration. Use pop dots or other items to "pop" your posies. Stamped images, printed images, images cut from patterned paper, posy shaped cards with popped posies...the sky is the limit. Use your imagination...get creative.
FYI: Posy or Posies simply means a single flower; a collection or bunch of flowers; a bouquet.
Bonus: to me "poppin" not only means to makes something stand off a page using dimension but to also make your colors POP! Use vibrant colors to make some gorgeous creations.
"IF" you don't have posies...other similar flowers are welcome.

It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen.

Question for you...I always thought that posy was generic term for a flower. Is a posy a type of flower like a daisy or a primrose or a crocus is a type of flower?

General term for this challenge is what I had in mind...don't want to limit anyone.

Tracy...that post you made had the craziest huge long code, so I deleted it. See if there's a different way you can show that card you found.

Okay thanks
Kelly's card is super cute. I'm not sure what happened with all the jumbled letters that followed though?

Hi VSNer's...I added a note about posies to clarify for anyone else that participates later.
I kind of had an idea what the definition was but I thought I would look it up. This idea came from the nursery rhyme.

Here are my posies. I cut out several flowers and distressed the edges and cut apart for more different layers. After it is posted, I will go down and put the stickles on the edges of the flower and leaves. TFL and thanks for the challenge!

Tracy, thanks for this super-fun challenge. I don't usually use such bright colors, but I found looking at the colors on this card made me so happy! Posies popped up, and also the butterfly!
