Welcome to VSN: Frozen.

I live in the Canadian prairies where it feels like winter lasts for at least half of the year. I love to sit by the window with a mug of hot tea and see the world covered with snow and ice. It's so beautiful and peaceful.

My challenge to you is to use the Stained Glass Technique or the Frosted Window Technique and get your winter on.

I like this! I am doing the Frosted Window one.
I like to sit and look outside with a hot cup of tea! In fact right now have my Decaf Chocolate Hazelnut.

Thanks for the challenge. I have not done the Frosted Window Technique so I will try that. No cards tonight or tomorrow, but probably Sunday. I can at least think of what I want to do over the next couple of days. We have a big village Christmas celebration tomorrow - Rudolph Country Christmas! Thanks for all you do by hosting a challenge!

I've never tried either of these techniques! I normally end up in a ball crying on the floor when I use vellum, but I'll give it a shot. lol

I love the stained glass effect, is it ok to use Acetate in place of Vellum?

Doing ok. It's warm here, hovering around zero which makes the roads wet and messy, but it's a rare treat in December. I need to get our Christmas tree up today

I had never done this technique before...I learned that even though the image is heat embossed it still can be removed :(
