Hey Lee, I have a friend in NC, she still has no power. VSBN is not her thing, I just wanted to let ya know some have no power and will not even see this in time.
I am so happy that there's a little extra time for those who are able to use it! My heart has been heavy for those affected...I remember feeling so overwhelmed when the tree fell on our house back in 2004 during Hurricane Jeanne. My brain just would not go into gear.
Hopefully those who had power outages and time lost from prep or evacuations and that kind of thing maybe can still submit a few cards! Those with real damage probably still won't get to stamp, but maybe they'll know that their stampin' sisters are thinking of them! What seems disastrous can truly turn into a blessing (it did for us)!
Thank you for your consideration for those of us who experienced Hurricane Irene. I'm so lucky that our damage was minimal - blessings on all who were not so fortunate.
This is a wonderful idea. I have not lived through a hurricane, but have been through a major earthquake. When Mother Nature asserts herself it is a frightening experience. My heart is with my East Coast family.

OMGosh Deb. that's one big tree on your house! I'm so glad you were all safe. Over here in the UK we don't have anything like this. Our big winds may knock a few dustbins over or blow a few small branches off trees but I can't possibly imagine what it feels like to be in the midst of something like a hurricane.
Sending warm wishes to everyone affected and hoping you are all safe and well.
