Give me a Head with HAIR by Carla ~ Saturday, March 19th - 6 pm EST - MAR16VSNK
Challenge Title: Give me a Head With HAIR!
Hostess: Covington Crafter (Carla)
Keyword: MAR16VSNK
Date: Saturday, March 19, 2016 - 6 PM EST
When Lee posted the theme, Here Comes the Sun, I immediately thought of another sun themed song, Let the Sunshine In, from the funky, late 60's musical Hair and of course that marvelous song, Hair!
So my challenge for you: “Give me a head with hair,” strange and wonderful hair. Wire it, tangle it, add flowers or leaves, Zentangle it. Stamp or draw a head and get creative with that hair! Need some inspiration besides our samples? Here's my Mixed Media Hair Pinterest board.
Don't forget to use MAR16VSNK in keywords when you upload your card for this challenge. Can't wait to see your fun creations!

Circumspect:
There are rumors to the effect
That dreamers are deficient in practicality.
When, in all actuality,
Any given situation may cause
A logician to give pause,
Or a problem-solver to set about
Attempting to iron the cognitive kinks out,
Neatly graphing and mapping
With tables and all the trappings.
Yet, will the practitioners puzzle to find
The perfect solution in a creative mind.
Why is creativity indirectly proportional to order?
Why do artists appear to border
On that mental territory called Insanity
What is this peculiar vanity
That restrains our brains to "down to earth"?
Everyone! Come celebrate each idea's worth!
Is it true that all Venusians wear
The dreams of ages in their hair?
An Earth-bound soul
Wants to know.

Good morning Ching and Susan! Looking forward to seeing your creations. There are so many marvelous cards in the VSN gallery. I have lots of catching up to do.
Note to self: Do not schedule sleep over with grandsons for VSN weekend, especially if you are hosting a challenge. The little darlings have gone home and I'm too pooped to pop! Time to put my feet up and check out the gallery for for all the creations I've missed.
Here is my card Carla. I did the best I could. I don't have a stamp with hair on it, so I punched out two images from DSP that I had and tried to fill in the hair. Hope it works.
You probably can't see it until it's approved tomorrow. Your challenge was the most challenging for me. I just couldn't get my head wrapped around it. Thanks so much for hosting. I had loads of fun.
