It's November and the cold weather is moving in. I am NOT a huge fan of cold weather, even though I've lived in the Midwest my entire life. I would be quite content if it snowed only in the month's of December and January. It's no secret, I like to be warm and cozy. No better way to do that, than to bundle up!
My challenge is……for you to make a card or project with an image of a something you'd bundle up with....scarf, hats, mittens, sweater, blanket, etc.....AND to make it warm and cozy....... incorporate felt into your project.
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Monday November 14.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, DEC11VSNMINI1 , when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen.

We have warm and cozy over here! It's pouring down rain and has been all day. Hubby came home from work early, no sense standing outside in a torrential downpour. I only wish it would freeze and we could have lots of snow!
Fruit loop!! The first challenge uses the ONE product I don't have yet!! I think my mom has a bunch of felt and we're heading over there later, so I was going to ask her for some, but right now....can't play yet!
I'll just hang around and admire everyone else's work!

i cut mine free hand, but saw Beate make one last year with that mitten nestie and loved it. they make great gift card holders and then can be used as an ornament for the tree.

NO CRAFT FRIGHT ALLOWED!!!
You can upload until Monday night.. so you have tonight and all weekend. You need to complete the card in 45 minutes BUT that doesn't count planning time... just stamping.

I think you could make suede count. I'm not a stickler on the "rules" so feel free to bend them a little

Hope you have FUN!!! this is my 2nd. I played my first one in Sept. (I think) I only played 2 challenges that night...but had so much fun. Enjoy yourself ...I get that feeling too when I first start a challenge!

LOL. Don't worry! Play for fun. I admit, there have been a few VSN cards that I do in a rush, post and then think....that card ain't going anywhere!! But, I've learned lots of techniques and it's fun to play along with others.

I was sooooooooo stressed out my first VSN... then I realized I just needed to take a deep breath and try... it was so much fun.
IIRC the first VSN challenge I ever did was to make a colorful card using only white items.... So we could color ribbon or buttons or pearls... what not... but what we started with had to be white..

I think I just kind of followed along during my first VSN. Otherwise known as lurking. I might have only completed a couple.
Okay I am going with the suede! I think is is really warm, and I woudln't mind being bundled in suede!! Thanks everyone! YOu are all great! It is for the fun!
