Our Winter Wonderland theme immediately conjures up a snowy scene in my mind. I absolutely love it when the snow is falling in thick chunks outside while I am cozied up inside. As a child, I would lay on my back at the base of our sliding glass door and watch the snow fall. It was glorious (and a bit dizzying)!

The next best thing to the real deal are the snowglobes that often decorate coffee tables at Christmas time. I could spend hours turning them upside down and then watching the snow fall on the scene inside the glass. They come in a few different shapes, so I thought that would translate well into a sketch for this VSN.

This looked way better in my head! - I stamped onto acetate and then used copies to colour in - I stamped card stock to sit behind with snowflakes - Then die cut both - you know where I was going with this though, don't you?

Toni - I really enjoyed the sketch challenge! I LOVE snowglobe Christmas decorations!

The only thing I would do differently, to try another effect, is to add glitter or some other technique on the actual snowglobe (circle) image so that it looks like it was just shaken
