Brand New by craftymerla ~ Saturday, March 19th - 7 pm EST - MAR16VSNL
Challenge Title: Use a BRAND NEW item from your stash
Hostess: Merla (Crafty Merla)
Keyword: MAR16VSNL
Date: Saturday, March 19, 2016 - 7 PM EST
Sunrise signals a brand new day with no mistakes in it.
So, my challenge to you is to find that brand new item in your stash that you have not used and get creative.
It can be anything from a brand new stamp set to an accessory you might have bought on clearance! Whatever you haven't taken the time to play with yet, is what you want to grab now. Take the time to show those neglected items a little bit of warmth. Make sure to let us know what it is that you have finally dusted off and used.
I look forward to seeing your creations in the VSN gallery Dont forget to use the keyword MAR16VSNL for this challenge when you upload your creation!

Hi Merla! Ok, I have these Crazy Birds and dies since before Christmas and have never had the nerve to use them. Everyone does such a great job with them, I was just a little intimidated!
I hope everyone is going through their stash, and finding all of those new stamps, embellishments, paper, and tools, you haven't had a chance to play with yet and getting busy. I have been making so many cards in these past couple of days, that I have actually used quite a few things that had been sitting there for a while. Thank you VSN and all of these great challenges! This is my first, and I'm loving it!
VSN has always been a favorite of mine along with DTGD! ( just for Fan Club members) Love that too! That is in July, I think. But when I first joined SCS, VSN was like the first challenges I ever did. I loved that you chatted while you stamped!
My computer is not in my craft room, so I have to go back and forth. Although, that could be a good thing for me because I get caught up in both for quite a while. Meaning I am either stamping or manning the computer. These days, if I lose my train of thought it might be quite a while before I get it back. LOL
No problem Kathy. I hope everything gets better for you. We do have a whole week to upload our cards, and it's all about having fun and relaxing. I also stopped making cards for a bit and started looking at the gallery. Such awesome cards. I'm catching my breath now, and will probably go back to my craft room in a bit and get busy again. If not, there's tomorrow!
I am so glad there are VSN events. I have learned so much in such a short amount of time. It's fantastic. Thanks ladies for keeping this event alive. I look forward to see what is still added during the week. Thank you to all who participated in my challenge.
