Yeehaw! You’ve come to the rodeo! You’re in your seat. You can feel the excitement build. Then the music starts. A hush of anticipation falls over the crowd. The gates swing open. It’s time for …
…The Grand Entry!
A typical rodeo begins with a "Grand Entry", in which mounted riders, many carrying flags, including the American flag, state flags, banners representing sponsors, and others enter the arena at a gallop, circle once, come to the center of the arena and stop while the remaining participants enter. The grand entry is used to introduce some of the competitors, officials, and sponsors. It is capped by the presentation of the American flag, usually with a rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner," and, depending on region, other ceremonies.
My challenge is……for you to make a Grand Entry to this VSN Rodeo. Create a card that includes flags or pennants. You may use stamps , stickers, or cut the flags or pennants from paper.
*** For an extra challenge, make your card red, white, and blue!
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 8:00 PM EDT ON MONDAY AUGUST 1.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, AUG11VSNMINI1, when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.

Hurrah! I found you...Before I start, I want to thank all of you hostesses and anyone else who has put time into this! I don't know how long I will be able to do this...I've been really ill for a month...this will be my first card in that long, too.
