Things aren't just bigger in Texas, they're a little sassy, a little free-spirited, and a little rebellious. So it just makes sense that this Texan is going to break some rules in the Great Republic tonight and get creative, Lone Star style!

As author Mary Lasswell said: "I am forced to conclude that God made Texas on his day off, for pure entertainment, just to prove that all that diversity could be crammed into one section of earth by a really top hand"

So my challenge tonight is as diverse as my Great Republic of Texas is. If you want it to be a sketch challenge, so be it. If you want it to be an inspiration challenge, so be it. Whatever this flag says to you, I want you to put it on your project!

I can't wait to see what you create! To get you warmed up, I have a little song for you to listen to while you stamp. And a mighty fine looking Texan for you to look at, I might add...

OMG - I finally made it...here is my card for Lydia's challenge...good challenge Lydia. The TX flag is great inspiration and I will use this layout in the future as well.

Better late than never...got distracted by stuff like, oh, feeding the dog, feeding the family, answering the phone (twice)...little things like that!

Anyway, here it is...if I had time to do it over, I think I would mess around with the colors so there wasn't as much contrast, but it is what it is.

Crappy with a capital C! Winds and rain are picking up and I can hear the gusts. Haven't lost power or cable (I have cable internet) so that's good. Hurricanes are nerve wracking enough but when they come at night and last hours it's very very nerve wracking. I couldn't listen to anymore news updates so I put Little House on the Prairie (my fav) on the TV.

LOL! I cleared out a tiny square just big enough to stamp and color my images and stamp on my card base. I'm feeling claustrophobic now! LOL

I just have not been able to get more cards done - today was moving day for us in the RV and too many other details to deal with...
However, I decided to comment (challenge A) and realized that they are doubled! This happened the other day as well.
