When I think of summertime I think of MOVING (which I did this year) and VACATION.

When you move or go on a vacation - if you're like me - you need a LIST! A to-do LIST to get done before you leave, and a LIST of things to pack. Here's a LIST of things you'll need to remember when making your project for this challenge...

- use at least one texture (crumpling, ripping, crimping, embossing, textured paper, etc)
- use only one embellishment
- don't forget the color yellow!
- use a stamp that you don't often use
- have fun!

I am ready to start, but can you define "embellishment"? (I always want to follow the rules!) Does that mean ribbon, bling, glitter? Just want to be sure before I start. Thanks.

I mean ONLY ONE extra other-than-paper thing. So you could have 16 layers of paper but only one ribbon, not one ribbon and one button. Or ONLY ONE brad, not 4, not just one type of embellishment - I mean ONLY ONE
thing extra.

Do things like shimmerz paint (not the spray) or twinkling h2os count as an embellishment or as a colouring medium?

I'm not going to be too picky on that kind of thing. Just don't go overboard with embellishments, please!

I had a very hard time ever liking Crushed Curry - although I saw many cards made with that color that I liked, the color by itself is too overwhelming for me.

LOVE the card you made with it though!

Gotcha! I probably won't use either, but I don't usually think of them as embellishments, since they become integral to the image, so I had to ask!

Sorry it took so long to reply - my laptop battery ran out. I'm trying to charge it now....

As long as there is some yellow on the card somewhere, that's all I want. It can be the main color if you choose.

Another question! Is sewing considered an embellishment? I have my card all made and put a flower on it, and it occured to me that sewing might be considered an embellishment. I can take the flower off it it is. Thank you!

No, I wouldn't consider sewing an embellishment.
