It seems like every summer growing up included at least one trip to the beach. I always loved beach combing the beach for all the lovely treasures the tide would bring in. Collecting shells was a fun pastime, and it reminded me of that silly little tongue twister, "Sally sells seashells, down by the seashore." So as you are repeating this to yourself 5 times, your challenge is to run around your stamp room and look for a shell stamp set, or a die cut shell, or even a real shell or a charm that can be used on your card. If you don't have something like that, there is always, shell macaroni, or you might even have a stamp of an animal that lives in a shell like a turtle or crab.
Use your imagination and lets see what your creative tides bring in.

I'm done! I have a beautiful flamingo stamp that I love, did a quick Stampin Pastels on it and heat embossed some shells for a border - it's simple but I like it! Will photo later. Thanks for the challenge!

WOW, what an awesome array of cards! From birthdays, to Christmas, to anytime at all. What a fun hour we have shared! If you are just arriving here, hope you will find some shells or shell animals scattered around in your stamps and you will dig them out, ink them up, and share in the fun!!!! Finding seashells is the best part of going to the beach, which is why I have a rather large container of them on top of my desk and a smaller container next to that and I think a few tins of them floating around in my craft area someplace...and all of those and I still opt for stamped shells on my card.

I just got home from a wedding, and am about 6 cards behind! I was so happy to do this seashell card! Got out a seashell wheel and made a quick one-10 minutes. Hope they can all go this quickly, so I can catch up! Thank you for the challenge! Love my seashells! Here is sandcastles and Starfish!

What a full, fun, and exciting day it has been!! Thanks, Patti, for helping me get this all loaded. And thanks to all the wonderful artists who shared their wonderful and unique shell collections with us today. Hope more will join in tomorrow and catch up on the fun. Yea, Susan! I'm glad you have a new stamp to share with us. I'm propping my eyes open now, so may have to catch the rest tomorrow. Twelve hours at the computer has been harder than I imagined it would be. I still have two more cards to complete, so maybe I can dream up something good for those two while I sleep.
