I got home at 5:15 (Texas time) so got a late start, but thank you so much for an easy card to start VSN off with. I made my CAS card with cherries, because fruit, cherries, berries, etc. help to cool me off during the summer.
I'll wait to upload cards until I've made a few or after the challenges stop tonight.

I am originally from Minnesota and now live in Nevada... nothing...and I mean nothing compares to the MN State Fair! I am so jealous right now! Eat some fried cheese curds for me please!

I could use a little bowl of bacon & hickory lays chips later on though. But now I am off to create my card.

Thank you Judy! Fun challenge. I now have finished my very first SCS VSN challenge card!!!! I even got my table cleaned up and photos done. I took right off from Judi's card as I was out hunting for local honey today at the farmers market (need to go to the one on Tuesday in Sandwich to get some it appears). Thank you Judi for being such a lovely hostess! Will post card in a bit.
Great challenge, Judi! Love that it was CAS, especially for the first challenge of the weekend! I will upload all of my cards at one time at the end of the evening.

I had to dig up an old stamp set! I mean old! It was one that was on foam, which I had remounted so I could use it w/acrylic blocks. I haven't used it lately, even though I had remounted it! Here is One in a Melon.

Okay, I am playing along and hear is mine...Watermelon Smoothie. My kids love it when we freeze watermelon and make smoothies for them, especially if they get it in one of my magarita glasses. They get so excited about it.

This one was a definite challenge for me. As I look back, there are a lot of things that I could have done to make this card better, but it is what it is. It took long enough to figure out what I was going to do!

I will try for the deep fried cheese curds on a stick for you. It might be a hard one for me, though. I will NOT do the deep fried baloney sandwich, even if you pay me.

This is my first time to participate in a VSN and I love the first challenge! I do not have any food stamps, so I was wondering if it would be ok to use my Cricut to cut out the food for my card?
