I’m so excited to be a VSN authoress for the first time!
Don’t you just love the feeling you get reading one of your favorite books? Curling up on the couch with a cup of cocoa and an Austen novel is the best! Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorites! The first sentence is genius, the characters are deliciously flawed, and the banter is hilarious. I can read it again and again! Just thinking about it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Your challenge is to recreate that fuzzy feeling by using felt or flocking on a card!
You can flock your stamped image, cut your own felt, or use any of the hundreds of felt or flocked embellishments that have found their way into your shopping bags. Even old iron-on letters will work!

Fabulous challenge! I've been wanting to use my flocking! And I just watched Pride and Prejudice during the July's VSN! I watched Sense and Sensibility too and Becoming Jane. I love how they end happily! Except for Becoming Jane!

Is there more than one? The one I watched had a really hot guy as Mr. Darcy. I guess it's the latest one that has come out. I don't know, I just picked whatever came up under Netflix search!
I just have to say, and I'm not trying to hijack your thread, but I am on the phone w/ Dell because my harddrive failed again (of course that would happen today of all days!) and they are sending out a new laptop! WOO HOO!!! I just had to share my excitement!!!!

And there is most definitely more than one version of Pride and Prejudice. There's the one with Greer Garson and Laurence Olivier from the 40s, the 80s one that PBS did, the A&E/BBC version with Jennifer Ehle and the incredible Colin Firth, and the new one with Keira Knightly and, I think, Mathew MacFayden. Actually, I'm pretty sure that's not his name, but oh well.

Well I didn't have flock or felt and was gonna just watch Lord of the Rings for this round but nooo I decide to glance down the chats and find all kinds of cool ideas. Hmmm I do know we have lint downstairs and definately a mismatched sock so that becomes the challenge in and of itself lol so we'll see what happens. Ya'll are just to much fun!!
