My discovery of rubber stamps totally changed how I work in scrapbooks over the last 6 or 8 years. I used to rely solely on papers, decorative scissors and stickers to create my pages. There is a larger world out there, and I mean right here within our Splitcoaststampers web site.
Our Sharon gave us a challenge (SIC133) back in September of last year worth repeating. It will allow us to get acquainted, or reacquainted, with our tutorials. Under the category “Tutorials” please find “Stamping in Scrapbooking” by Jennie Thompson. She lists 27 ways to use stamping on our pages.
Your challenge : Look at her list and choose ways to use stamps on your page. Be brave and try at least two of the 27.
NEED TO KNOW:
1. You have a cumulative total of 2 working hours to complete the challenge. Be Fair.
2. Upload your creation with KEYWORD LoveVSBN10 by 10:00 PM EST, Sunday, February 17, 2013, to be considered for VSBN Recognition.
3. Please describe your experience with this challenge to add stamping to your layout in your upload description.
4. Post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your layout is seen by the host and all visitors.
5. You can also include KEYWORD SIC133 so your creation will appear in the original challenge's gallery.
Do all of the above and you can smile. Leave some LOVE comments for your fellow scrappers and we all can smile!

I used this one on my one digital page using a digital stamp but I looked thru every tutorial and really got the itch to do an actual paper page just so I could use some of my many many stamps!

HI Joyce Ann! I love stamping in scrapbooking. I am working on this already. I didn't do any page but my own ahead! I was too busy, but at least I got some ideas! I already stamped on pages I did earlier today! LOL But I will have one ready in a little while.
Thanks for doing this challenge, and of course it is one of my favorites.

I'm a horrible stamper so this one is tricky for me. I like Terri's angle with the digital stamps though....
I moved to the living room to get more light. DS1 is watching fishing shows.....ugh... btw - you can't imagine the number of "male enhancement" commercials they have on these things... DS is 12 and pretty naive. I don't think he has a clue what they are promoting....

I love this challenge because I always forget to pull out and use stamps with a lo.
wow, can't believe I missed the whole day. I will play catch up all day Sunday. I am still excited to be back scrapping, but my plans to stay home today went right out the window.

I'm going to head off to bed now too. Didn't do any scrapping but did finish up the whole box of work I brought home yesterday so maybe tomorrow I'll get to play. And all during the day I had to get DGS to do homework that apparently he's not been doing when he was supposed to! I have a feeling he might be repeating the 4th grade at this rate but we'll see how motivated he's going to be if he really thinks he'll have to repeat!
And we only ended up with about 1" of snow instead of the 30" our friends in CT got! I don't envy them at all!

I LOVE to stamp on my Layouts. I use my stamps all the time to create backgrounds, accents, eye-candy and focal points. I decided to use this layout to show how you can create a whole scrapbook page using stamps instead of pictures to tell the story.

I can't figure out what I did or didn't do, but my page isn't showing in the challenge gallery and I have the correct keywords which if I click on the keyword on my page it takes me to that challenge gallery, but my page isn't there
