Challenge 1: Celebrating babies in our lives.
Babies have many different definitions in my mind. I immediately think of newborns. But babies include infants, toddlers, young children, grandbabies, friend�s kids, and even heritage baby pictures. So many of us consider our pets as our babies. I still consider my 25 and 28 year old as my babies. So, your Babies Challenge, is open to include all that you consider your babies. Challenge 1 Rules:
� Use monochromatic colors for this page. (All shades of one color such as all blues or pinks, or greens, reds, or blacks.)
� Label the names of the people in your pictures. This can be a title, journal box, label strips, or other creative idea.
� Complete a one or two page layout.
� Add two additional embellishments.

Ok, I admit ... I struggle with "monochromatic" but I tried and I love how my page(s) turned out

Lela, I always decide on a color based on a picture. Then I look through my stash, and start matching patterns of the same color. Then I find ribbon, fabric, lace, bling, etc. to match. Then I look at sketches in black and white and layout my colors. Works every time for me. I'll admit that I was nervous a few times, but the colors worked. Have fun with it and enjoy!!!
Whew! I completely switched gears and pulled out new photo's and embellishments when I saw the requirements! All's well that ends well...

I used a really old piece of embossed pink cardstock for my base...kinda nice to get that out of my stash!!

We just finished dinner and I am working on my page and doing laundry. LOL They are in the same room- Laundry and scrap room! I have had a ATC failure. Don't know how to get it to work correctly!
Here is my Monochromatic Babies page: Just Ducky
I have done so many baby pages and decided to do these ducks instead of repeating photos I've already used. This holds happy memories of when I lived in Virginia Beach, so it's good!

I have had a ATC failure. Don't know how to get it to work correctly!
Sharon, all I can suggest is to open it up, try to see if it can be rewound, and if it can't put in a new one. My DD was notorious about messing one up, and sometimes I couldn't rewind so I had to put a new expensive tape in. I finally convinced her to not use it and stick with the Xyron or glue sticks.

Sharon mine did that about a year ago and I still haven't figured it out! lol

Hi All. I've almost completed my page but now I've got to try and find the 2nd picture for the page. I think it's on an external hard drive so I need to see if that's in my fireproof safe...off to look!
